[Remote] Remote Structural Engineer (AutoCAD Drafting & Structural Design & Calculations)

Note: The job is a remote job and is open to candidates in USA. GetMyCourse is a growing Australian structural design firm seeking a skilled and detail-oriented Structural Engineer. The successful candidate will handle end-to-end design and drafting tasks, working remotely with flexible hours aligned to Australian business operations. Responsibilities • Drafting 2D/3D structural drawings using AutoCAD • Preparing detailed structural calculations using Structural Toolkit and/or CLEAR Calcs • Setting up jobs using pre-prepared templates and ensuring all drawings are accurate and compliant with engineering principles • Translate director provided sketches to complete structural documentation • Incorporating revisions and finalizing drawings for client submission • Maintaining organized drawing files and project documentation • Communicating with the Director for clarification and approvals (no client-facing work required) Skills • Must have a relevant experience as an AutoCAD Drafter • Written and verbal communication skills - needed for communicating with a range of people, both internally and externally • Ability to draft, setup sheets and complete structural calculations • Ability to work independently, stay on task, and meet project deadlines • The ability to multitask and prioritize your workload • Excellent attention to detail and accuracy in work • Reliable internet connection and suitable home office setup • Experience using Structural Toolkit and/or CLEAR Calcs (preferred; CLEAR Calcs training available) • Strong knowledge of drainage design including onsite detention and understanding of Australian residential construction & engineering practices in AU is highly desirable • Previous remote work experience with Australian clients Company Overview • We are Get My Course, we help students and professionals reach their full career potential by assisting them in getting nationally recognised certifications to boost their career paths.
