This role supports research initiatives across various health sectors and involves designing and executing research projects, developing analytical datasets, and delivering insights for evidence generation and strategic decision-making.ResponsibilitiesSupport research programs across Women's Health, Established Brands, Biosimilars, and in-licensing opportunitiesDesign and execute observational research studies involving developmental and commercial productsDevelop study protocols and Statistical Analysis Plans (SAPs), ensuring appropriate study design, sample size, and statistical methodologiesCreate analytical datasets and perform statistical analyses using large healthcare databasesGenerate tables, listings, figures, and statistical outputs for publications, presentations, and internal reportsAnalyze real-world data from insurance claims databases, electronic medical records (EMR), and patient registriesDevelop and implement quality control processes, programming standards, and templates to ensure data accuracy and integrityCommunicate research findings and statistical insights to internal stakeholdersSupport research projects intended for congress presentations and manuscript submissionsUtilize cloud and high-performance computing environments, including Azure and AWSMeet project timelines with minimal supervision while maintaining a high standard of qualityTranslate complex statistical findings into meaningful business and scientific insightsSkillsBachelor's, Master's, or advanced degree (PhD, DrPH, PharmD, or equivalent) in Health Economics, Biostatistics, Health Services Research, Public Health, Epidemiology, Pharmacy Administration, or a related disciplineMinimum 7 years of SAS programming experienceMinimum 4 years of hands-on experience conducting real-world evidence studies using large claims and EMR databases within a Health Economics and Outcomes Research (HEOR) environmentExperience developing analytical datasets and conducting statistical analysesStrong SAS programming and data analysis skillsExtensive experience utilizing large healthcare databases, including insurance claims, electronic medical records, and registry databasesStrong written and verbal communication skillsAbility to manage multiple priorities and meet deadlines with minimal supervisionExperience working with large healthcare databases such as Premier, IBM MarketScan, THIN, Humedica, IMS PharMetrics Plus, GE Health, Flatiron, OMNY, and similar sourcesExperience with the OMNY database and dermatology research is highly preferredKnowledge of medical coding systems including ICD-10, SNOMED, LOINC, NDC, HCPCS, and CPTExperience with R and R Shiny programmingFamiliarity with Azure and AWS cloud computing environmentsExperience with OMNY and dermatology-focused researchBenefits401KDental insuranceLife InsuranceMedical InsuranceVision InsurancePTOCompany OverviewOn-Board Companies is a management consulting enterprise located in New Jersey.
