Note: The job is a remote job and is open to candidates in USA. The US Oncology Network is looking for a Remote Regional Healthcare Senior Finance Manager - Surgery to join our team. This role offers the opportunity to influence enterprise strategy, partner closely with senior leadership, and drive meaningful business impact in a complex healthcare environment. The Senior Finance Manager will support budgeting and forecasting, provide variance analysis, and ensure consistent application of financial processes and controls.ResponsibilitiesPrepare monthly financial reporting packages, variance analyses, and KPI dashboards for practice and regional leadershipSupport annual budgeting and recurring forecast cycles; coordinate inputs, validate assumptions, and maintain driver‑based financial modelsTranslate financial results into clear insights and recommendations; proactively identify and escalate risks and opportunities to the Division Finance DirectorPartner with physician and practice leaders to review financial results, productivity trends, and cost driversPrepare and present financial materials for practice operations, physician meetings, and board discussionsServe as the finance liaison and voice for the region, providing responsive, accurate, and customer‑focused support for ad hoc requestsMaintain and enhance key performance indicators (KPIs), including volume, revenue yield, payor mix/discounts, expense run rates, and working capital metricsSupport the development and enhancement of decision‑support tools in partnership with the Division Finance DirectorSupport capital expenditure (CapEx) intake and evaluation, including gathering business cases, preparing financial analyses (ROI/NPV), and tracking approved projects against budget and timelinesConduct recurring analyses on revenue, discounts, expense trends, and accounts receivable aging; investigate variances and recommend corrective actionsAssist Controllers with month‑end close activities, including reconciliations, accrual support, and spend reviewsPromote adherence to internal controls, financial policies, and governance standardsProvide analytical support for growth initiatives, including provider recruitment modeling, service line or product line analysis, and practice integrations or M&A diligence as assignedServe as a trusted ā€œright handā€ to the Division Finance Director by organizing workplans, tracking deliverables, and ensuring timely execution across stakeholdersContribute to continuous improvement initiatives, including digital and AI‑enabled solutions that streamline reporting, automate recurring processes, and improve insight qualityPerform other duties as assignedSkillsBachelor's degree required (Finance, Accounting, Business, or related field)7+ years of progressive finance experienceExperience in Financial Analysis, FP&A, Valuations, Controllership, or similar rolesDemonstrated ability to support senior leaders with timely, accurate financial analysis in a fast‑paced, multi‑site environmentStrong analytical and quantitative skills with the ability to translate data into actionable insightsExcellent communication, presentation, and interpersonal skillsSelf‑starter with strong organizational skills and ability to manage multiple prioritiesAbility to collaborate effectively across functional teams and stakeholdersProblem‑solving, persistent, and results‑oriented mindsetDigital‑first approach with interest in leveraging automation and AI to improve processesProficiency in Microsoft Excel, Word, and PowerPointMaster's degree (MBA or related) and/or CPAExperience in healthcare services preferredPrior experience in oncology, hospital administration, or similarly complex healthcare environments is advantageousExperience in other multi‑site healthcare settings (e.g., outpatient surgery, renal care, multi‑specialty practices) is highly valuedExperience in providing financial oversight or support to surgical specialties, surgical practices, or procedural service lines is strongly preferredBenefitsMedical, Dental, Vision, Life Insurance, Short-term and Long-term disability coverageA generous PTO programA 401k plan that comes with a company matchA Wellness program that rewards you practicing a healthy lifestyleTuition ReimbursementAn Employee Assistance programDiscounts on some of your favorite retailersLong-Term Incentive Plan (LTIP): an incentive program designed to attract, retain, and reward top talentLong-Term Incentive Plan (LTIP): is an incentive program that typically vests over a three-year period and is tied to both individual performance and the operational success of Texas OncologyAwards are discretionary and based on your position, performance, and potential for future career growth at Texas OncologyAwards are reviewed and approved during the annual compensation reviewLTIP awards are subject to your continued employment through the award payment dateLTIP awards are governed by the written terms and conditions of the LTIP documentCompany OverviewMinnesota Oncology is a hospital & health care company that provides cancers and blood disorders treatment.
