[Remote] Remote East Coast Mortgage Processor
Note: The job is a remote job and is open to candidates in USA. Deephaven Mortgage is a leader in non-QM lending, providing innovative mortgage solutions to help borrowers achieve homeownership. The Account Manager will serve as the primary contact for brokers, ensuring loan applications are processed accurately and efficiently while maintaining high levels of communication and customer satisfaction.
Responsibilities
ā¢ Act as the main point of contact for the broker once the loan has been submitted
ā¢ Review loan applications for accuracy and completeness
ā¢ Collect and verify all documentation required for initial and final loan approval
ā¢ Proactively manage the Estimated Closing Date and keep stakeholders informed
ā¢ Prepare and submit initial, conditional, and final loan packages to underwriting
ā¢ Maintain timely and professional communication with brokers, adhering to service level agreements (SLAs)
ā¢ Process change of circumstance requests within SLA timelines
ā¢ Convert and organize loan documentation using Encompass
ā¢ Send Notices and Counter Offers to brokers as applicable
ā¢ Work closely with Account Executives, Underwriters, and Closers to ensure a seamless process
ā¢ Order and review necessary services and verifications
ā¢ Ensure the highest level of broker and customer satisfaction
Skills
ā¢ 3+ years of mortgage processing experience
ā¢ Proficient in MS Office including Word and Excel
ā¢ Knowledge of current regulatory compliance requirements
ā¢ Organized, analytical, detail oriented, and self-motivated
ā¢ Manage pipeline to ensure Service Level Agreements (SLAs) are met
ā¢ Communicate effectively with others, both verbally and in writing
ā¢ Maintain the highest level of confidentiality and quality
ā¢ Maintain knowledge of products and programs offered
ā¢ Complete responsibilities effectively and efficiently with minimal direction
ā¢ Manage daily tasks to ensure business needs are consistently met
ā¢ Present self in a professional manner and interact with all levels of organization and outside contacts appropriately
ā¢ Comply with Deephaven policies and procedures
ā¢ Adopt the Deephaven culture that contributes to an environment of teamwork and promotes a positive company image to external customers
ā¢ Complete all assigned training by required dates
ā¢ Wholesale experience preferred
ā¢ Encompass systems knowledge preferred
ā¢ The ideal candidate will reside on the East Coast, candidates not residing in the Eastern Time Zone will not be considered for the position
