[Remote] REMOTE CONTRACT – Sr. Investment Data Analyst with Reference Data, Data Modeling, Data Mapping, SQL

Yoh, A Day & Zimmermann Company is seeking a Senior Investment Data Analyst with strong expertise in reference data, data modeling, and SQL. The role involves collaborating with various stakeholders to design and implement scalable data solutions while ensuring data accuracy and integrity. Responsibilities • Collaborate with stakeholders across Operations, Technology, and the OCIO (Office of the Chief Investment Officer) to design, document, and implement scalable data solutions. • Analyze complex datasets, building robust data flows, and ensuring the accuracy and integrity of investment data across multiple platforms and systems. • Drive requirements gathering, translate business needs into detailed functional and technical specifications, and partner with development teams to deliver high-quality solutions. • Serve as a subject matter expert on data architecture and contribute to ongoing data governance, ensuring alignment with enterprise-wide data strategy. Skills • Must be physically based in the US and EST/CST time zone. • Strong background in REFERENCE DATA, Data Modeling, Data Mapping, SQL. • Strong technical experience and ability to work with complex, large data sets. • Knowledge of Reference Data very well. • Mid and back office experience. • Strong SQL skills. • Knowledge of Fund instruments such as Mutual Funds, CITs, Fund pricing, ABOR/IBOR/PBOR/TBOR, Hedge Funds, Private Investment Funds, Funds of Funds. • Hands-on experience in analyzing complex datasets. • Experience building robust data flows. • Ensuring the accuracy and integrity of investment data across multiple platforms and systems. • Strong understanding of investment data, including securities, portfolios, benchmarks, and performance measurement. • Drive requirements gathering. • Translate business needs into detailed functional and technical specifications. • Partner with development teams to deliver high-quality solutions. • Serve as a subject matter expert on data architecture. • Contribute to ongoing data governance. • Ensure alignment with enterprise-wide data strategy.
