[Remote] Remote Audit Manager 140k-160k | Non Profit

LEVELOCITI is a leading Washington DC-based regional accounting firm known for its specialized expertise in multiple non-profit sectors. They are seeking a Senior Audit/Assurance Manager to lead remote engagements, guide teams, and provide critical insights to non-profit focused clients. Responsibilities • Lead multiple audit and assurance projects from initial planning through final deliverables • Manage, coach, and develop a remote team of auditors (staff and seniors) • Build lasting client relationships—primarily within the Non Profit/Education and State/Local Government space • Ensure financial statements comply with U.S. GAAP, GAAS, and PCAOB standards • Provide technical support on complex accounting issues • Identify opportunities to enhance client value and improve internal processes • Partner with leadership on firm-wide strategy and innovation Skills • Active CPA license (required) • Minimum 5 years of recent audit/assurance experience in public accounting • Proven experience managing full audit cycles and leading teams • Strong understanding of GAAP, GAAS, and PCAOB standards • Excellent communication and project management skills • Comfortable working in a fully remote environment • Familiar with modern cloud-based audit platforms • Public company audit experience is a strong plus Benefits • Medical, dental, vision, and 401(k) with company match • PTO, holidays, wellness days • CPA CPE covered, plus ongoing development and mentorship • Firm-wide virtual and in-person events (we love celebrating post-busy season together!)
