This role is responsible for ensuring compliance with internal and external regulations, managing compliance programs, and collaborating with trade organizations to monitor regulatory developments.ResponsibilitiesStrategize, implement, and maintain regulatory programs that support Regional Standards & Regulations and Corporate objectives through a cross-category / cross-brand approachIdentify key internal and external regulatory requirements for cross-functional teams and business partners (e.g. OEM)Establish and manage processes and tools necessary for the success of assigned compliance programsDirect multiple project teams, ensuring program goals are reachedEnsure the legal compliance of BSH as it relates to the scope of assigned programsProduce and submit internal and external reports to government and other agenciesDevelop and communicate program assessment protocols and KPIs for evaluation and improvementAnalyze, evaluate, and overcome program risks, and produce program reports for managers and stakeholdersPerform risk management and communicate to stakeholders and leadershipActively participate in trade associations (e.g. AHAM) to maintain awareness of developments in current laws and laws that are being proposedSupport Region North America Government Affairs to define and drive advocacy positions for upcoming legislationCross-functional collaborations with other program managers globally to identify risks and opportunities across multiple projects within the organizationPerform all other duties as assignedSkillsFour-Year College (Business Admin, Technical, or relevant) – RequiredCertificate in Project Management - Required7-10 Years of Experience (Program or Product Management) – Required5-7 Years of Experience (Project Leadership and Steering) - RequiredSkilled written and verbal communication skillsStrong experience in BSH core processes (Product Development Process, Product development, Corporate and Regional Strategy, Compliance, Standards & Regulatory topics)Proficient with relevant IT tools (Miro, Jira, SDD, Polarion, SAP, Pro Codex, Homologation DataBase, Team Center)Intercultural and cross-hierarchical communication skills and self-confidenceExcellent conflict management, communication, leadership skills, and assertivenessExperience in managing stakeholders and cross-functional collaborationExceptional skills in leadership, strategic planning, time management, facilitation and organizationBenefitsAnnual BonusMedical, dental, vision, life insurance, short- and long-term disability benefits, employee assistance program (EAP), Healthcare and Dependent Care Flexible Spending Accounts (FSA), and Health Savings Account (HSA) participation starting on the first day of the calendar month following date of hire.Wellness Plan that allows participating employees to earn lower medical care premiums.401(k) Retirement Plan starting on the first day of the calendar month following 30 days of service.
