[Remote] Regional Water/Wastewater Practice Leader

They are seeking a Regional Water/Wastewater Practice Leader to lead the development of water and wastewater treatment projects in the Southeast area.ResponsibilitiesDirect and oversee quality assurance and control of water / wastewater treatment projectsProvide technical expertise as QA/QC reviewer or technical advisor to ensure compliance with contracts, drawings, specifications, codes, statutes, rules, and regulations, as well as Arcadis’ quality and safety practicesLead knowledge transfer and development of staff within area of expertiseSupervise and support the work of others while mentoring junior and mid-level engineers and technical staff and ensuring the development of Arcadis’ capability in the discipline(s)Manage technical coordination and leadership role on larger or complex projects, or projects with higher associated riskWorking closely with a Arcadis Certified Project Manager, oversee and/or lead the technical delivery of very large projects, complex projects, or specialized projects ensuring client satisfaction, and good communication and collaboration between Arcadis colleaguesSupport marketing and proposal phases of projects including preparation of and participation in winning proposals and interviews, as well as developing scopes of work and budgetsBuild and maintain a strong professional reputation as an individual and for ArcadisKeep up to date with developments in the industry sector and with technical and legislative developments and seek out opportunities to develop a strong professional profile at a regional level (e.g., conference presentations, publications, and participation in technical committees)Actively engage with Southeast client account teams, supporting the expansion of business development opportunities and client relationships to strategically grow Arcadis’ Southeast portfolio, leveraging existing and new client relationshipsSkillsMinimum 20 years of water / wastewater treatment experienceBachelor of Science Degree in Civil or Environmental Engineering or related field of studyProfessional Engineer (PE) License and ability to obtain license by reciprocity in other states as neededOver 25 years of experience in water, wastewater, and stormwater projects at a comparable engineering firmA Master's Degree in Civil or Environmental Engineering, or a related field of studyKnowledge of and experience working with local clients in North Carolina, South Carolina, Georgia, Tennessee, and/or AlabamaActive participation in regional or national professional associationsPrior experience in a regional role with a proven ability to collaborate across regional teamsExperience in progressive design build delivery and DBIA certificationBenefitsMedical, dental, and visionEAP401KSTDLTDAD&DLife insurancePaid parental leaveReward & recognition programOptional benefits including wellbeing benefits, adoption assistance and tuition reimbursementNine paid holidays20 days PTO that accrue per yearCompany OverviewArcadis is the world's leading company delivering sustainable design, engineering, and consultancy solutions for natural and built assets.
