[Remote] Regional Vice President, Operations

Green Thumb Industries (GTI) is seeking a Regional Vice President, Operations to lead strategic direction and operational performance across a multi-site manufacturing region. This senior leadership role requires driving production targets, ensuring compliance, and fostering cross-functional collaboration while owning the regional P&L and elevating the company's operational standards.ResponsibilitiesExecute strategic direction for regional manufacturing operations translating enterprise production goals into clear regional priorities with accountability at the site levelProvide strategic guidance and direction to Directors, Site Operations; serve as the key resource for escalations, ensure consistent follow-through on priorities, and reinforce GTIās preferred operational methods and standards across all sitesOwn the regional P&L; partner with Regional Controllers and Directors, Site Operations to analyze performance dataāincluding efficiency metrics, labor variance, defect rates, cost drivers, and capacity planningāand drive data-based decisions on capital investments, resource allocation, and profitability improvementsDrive cross-functional alignment across CPG Production, Cultivation, Quality, Compliance, People, Finance, and Supply Chain facilitating collaboration, resolving roadblocks, and ensuring regional manufacturing performance supports GTIās broader commercial and growth objectivesChampion a high-performance culture grounded in GTIās values of accountability and transparency; inspire site-level leaders to build and sustain engaged, diverse teams that reflect the communities GTI servesDevelop and implement scalable standard operating procedures and best practices across the region; identify innovations at individual sites and systematically disseminate them to elevate performance across the entire regional portfolioPrioritize talent development and succession planning across the region; provide Directors, Site Operations with transparent coaching, meaningful feedback, and growth opportunities to build a strong internal pipeline of operations leadersEnsure rigorous compliance with all local, state, and federal cannabis manufacturing regulations; partner with Compliance and Legal to proactively address regulatory changes and immediately remediate any lapses in company policy or lawDrive continuous improvement across regional operations through LEAN manufacturing principles and structured Kaizen events; identify and eliminate waste, reduce variability, identify bottlenecks, and maximize throughput and operational efficiency across all sitesOther duties as assignedSkillsBachelor's Degree in Operations, Engineering or Business required10+ years of management experience in manufacturing environment; multi-site leadership experience requiredConsumer Packaged Good experience requiredIn-depth knowledge & understanding of Lean, Six Sigma, certifications a plusStrong commercial and financial acumen with experience managing a P&L requiredCan-do attitude and ability to adapt quickly; business is experiencing tremendous growth so previous operational experience in growth environment is substantially preferredAdapts and thrives in a demanding, fast-paced environmentSuperior communication and interpersonal skills (verbal, non-verbal, written), with the ability to build relationships at all levels, both internally and externallyPossesses a high level of critical thinkingOperates with a high level of professionalism and integrity, including dealing with confidential informationMust understand and comply with the rules, regulations, policies, and procedures of GTIMust have a solid understanding of the Medical Marijuana laws, rules and regulations set forth by the state; a pursuit to further their understanding and knowledge of the industry and the lawsMust pass any and all required background checksMust be and remain compliant with all legal or company regulations for working in the industryMust possess valid driver's licenseMust be a minimum of 21 years of ageMust be approved by state badging agency to work in cannabis industryExposure to horticulture and/or plant science and/or lab processing, a plusBenefitsPositions may be eligible for a discretionary annual incentive program driven by organization and individual performance.Company OverviewGreen Thumb Industries Inc.
