The role involves engaging with C-level stakeholders, coaching the sales team, and executing strategic sales plans for Salesforce’s security and developer solutions in the financial services sector.ResponsibilitiesLead, develop, and grow a team of 7–8 Enterprise Platform Account Executives covering AMER Financial Services accountsBuild and execute a strategic sales plan focused on Trusted and Developer solutions across the FS portfolioEngage directly with customers at the executive level, particularly CTOs, CISOs, and CIOs, to articulate the value of Salesforce's security and platform solutionsCoach your team on complex, consultative sales cycles involving security, compliance, and data governance requirementsRecruit, hire, onboard, and develop top sales talentPartner cross-functionally with Core Sales, Pre-Sales, Marketing, Alliances, and Product to drive customer successForecast accurately and report on pipeline health and sales activity to senior leadershipDrive demand generation and lead strategic campaigns to grow platform adoption within the FS segmentSkills5+ years of sales leadership experience managing a team of quota-carrying Enterprise Account Executives is requiredDemonstrated success leading Enterprise AE teams, ideally in a specialist or overlay sales modelDeep experience selling into Financial Services organizations (banking, insurance, asset management, fintech, capital markets)Strong understanding of security, compliance, and data governance solutions — experience selling Shield, encryption, privacy, or data protection products is a significant plusProven ability to sell to and engage with technical executives (CTO, CISO, CIO)Track record of building high-performing teams in a fast-paced, matrixed environmentExcellent communication, executive presence, and negotiation skillsA bachelor's degree is strongly preferredExperience in SaaS, PaaS, or platform sales strongly preferredBenefitsIncentive compensationEquityBenefitsTime off programsMedicalDentalVisionMental health supportPaid parental leaveLife and disability insurance401(k)Employee stock purchasing programCompany OverviewMuleSoft provides an integration and API platform that makes it easy to connect data from any system to create connected experiences.
