[Remote] Regional Sales Manager (Wastewater) - West Region

They are seeking a Regional Sales Manager to promote wastewater products and services, assist in achieving sales targets, and manage sales representatives in the West Region.ResponsibilitiesPromote Hydro International's (Company) complete range of wastewater products and servicesAssist in achieving the annual budgeted sales targets for territory and overall company business plan requirementsManagement of Manufacturers Sales Representatives in your territory by providing support, developing sales goals, assessing performance and hiring and firing where applicableConduct sales visits to specifying engineers, contractors, municipalities and state/federal RegulatorsPresent Company Water, Wastewater and Wet Weather products and services utilizing all available media including PowerPoint presentationsCollaborate with fellow RSM's on projects that cross territory linesMaintain current, complete and accurate records within CRM, as instructedReport sales activity to management as instructedAttend conferences and seminars to manage the company booth when the company is exhibitingAssist in the development and implementation of company sales and marketing strategyFocus on education of company products and technologyHelp develop sales tools needed by representativesRegional and individual training sessions for representativesAttend and assist with state and national trade showsProvide product sales literature, binders and technical papers to prospective clientsFollow-up marketing and sales inquiriesAssist with site evaluations, pilot/demonstration projects and data collectionPerform duties in accordance with all relevant legislation in particular the Health and Safety at Work ActApply requirements of BS EN ISO 9001 and ISO 14001 as appropriate within the areas of responsibilityOther duties, which the company may reasonably require the individual to undertakeSkillsBachelor's degree in a technical discipline or equivalent work experience in engineered products/construction industry5+ years of industry experienceExceptional relationship building skills; ability to build and maintain profitable mutually beneficial business partnerships and relationshipsAbility to work within a team environment, multi-task, and adapt to changeOutstanding communication and presentation skillsAbility to work from a home office with minimal supervisionThe Regional Sales Manager (RSM) will oversee the direction and activities of the Manufacturer Sales Representative in their territoryThe RSM will develop business and sales strategies for each Representative firm that coincides with the overall Company Business PlanThe RSM will use their skills and experience to 1) hold and assist with regional training seminars, 2) participate in local and national tradeshows, 3) assist in the development of articles, brochures, literature and other sales tools, and 4) make calls and presentations with the Manufacturers Sales Representative to Owner, plant personnel and Design Engineers. 5) Develop bid strategies to maximize success and profitabilityThe ability to develop sales, build relationships and be self-motivated is a prerequisiteNegotiation skills and an in depth understanding of Hydro's products are neededAbility to achieve sales and work and manage Manufacturers Representatives with good communication skills, sales skills and an ability to work with people from all backgrounds is requiredAbility to read blueprints and drawings, and mathematical skills are also requiredDomestic travel up to 50%International travel occasionallyAbility to sit at a desk/computer station for long periods of time with regular stretch breaksBenefitsYearly target bonus of 15%401(k) plan / group retirement savings programShort-term and long-term disability benefitsLife insuranceHealth, dental, and vision insurancePaid time offPaid holidaysHighly competitive base payComprehensive medical, dental and disability benefits programsGroup retirement savings programHealth and wellness programsAn inclusive culture that values opportunity for growth, development, and internal promotionCompany OverviewOldcastle Infrastructure is a provider of building materials, products and services for infrastructure projects.
