[Remote] Regional Sales Manager

The Regional Sales Manager is responsible for driving sales growth, managing customer relationships, and ensuring customer satisfaction through effective communication and closing techniques.ResponsibilitiesWork with current OEMs and distributors to grow the business and meet sales objectivesIdentify new OEMs and distributors to exceed sales objectivesIdentify & communicate new product needs to EngineeringDevelop sales tools and conduct regular training sessions to promote the suppression and detection systems, along with complementary productsInterface with customers and distributors to determine proper equipment for the applicationMaintain sufficient quote volume in the territory to ensure order levels are metEnsure quotations to customers:Meet the customers’ requirementsComply with company guidelinesInclude documentation to explain the systemResult in company-approved profit marginsFollow all projects to ensure closure of orders – revise quotations as necessaryAssist with Customer Service and Order Entry and ensure correct information is providedAssist with Accounts Receivable to collect funds from customers as neededReview non-standard projects with Engineering and/or ManufacturingFollow orders through manufacturing process, shipment and installation and start-upStrive for continuous quality improvement of products and processesInterface with other personnel as needed, i.e. MAGI, Sales Force, Operations improvement, etcCollect competitive information to aid sales effortsInterest in growth into a leadership role is importantTravel to shows and customers to review projects is required, mostly in the United StatesAdhere to company policy and procedurePerform other duties as assignedSkillsB.S. in Engineering or Business and/or 3 to 5 years of application engineering or industrial sales experienceStrong technical ability and systems design experienceStrong interpersonal and oral, e-mail and written communication skillsGood marketing, engineering and analytical skillsComputer skills using AutoCAD and/or SolidWorksProficient in Microsoft Office (365) and Sales Force CRMSelf-motivated team playerStrong customer service attitude and a quality-focused mentalityStrong work ethic with the desire to learn something new every dayExceptional written and verbal communication skillsAble to manage multiple and diverse projectsAble to perform in a fast-paced environment, while adapting to change favorablyAbility to think out of the box and work without excessive supervisionSafety is at the forefront of your mind and you follow all policies to promote a safe working environment at United SafetyYou bring with you a positive attitude and ability to work cohesively in a team environmentHelp United Safety operate effectively by adhering to attendance and punctuality standardsCompany OverviewFounded in 1984 by entrepreneur Christian Hammarskjold, our company began in a garage with just a few products and a dream to innovate better, safer transit solutions.
