[Remote] Regional Sales Manager

The Regional Sales Manager will drive sales growth through contractors and distributors, leading a team of Territory Sales Executives across nine states and ensuring strong customer relationships and sales strategies.ResponsibilitiesLead, coach, and mentor a team of Territory Sales Executives (TSE) to enhance performance and drive resultsEstablish and maintain strong relationships with key customers and their senior level management to ensure our sales team is in a favorable position to succeedTrack sales activities to determine sales progress and suggest improvementsMonitor market trends, customer behavior, and competitor activity to refine strategy and uncover new opportunitiesAssist in customer reviewsEnsure we have presence at distributor eventsSpend time with each TSE visiting key customersRecommend and implement improvements to achieve sales goalsResolve problems quickly to create positive customer experiencesUse Salesforce to ensure KPI’s are met and customer data is up to dateHold bi-weekly meetings via Teams with your direct reportsCollaborate cross-functionally with operations, marketing, product planning, and engineering to deliver customer-focused solutions and portfolio growthSkills5+ years of sales experience supporting 2-step HVACR wholesale distribution, MRO, Plumbing channels, or other technical sales/market experienceProven ability to lead high-performing sales teams and achieve sales targetsProven success in developing customer relationships and driving sales growthExcellent communication, presentation, and negotiation skillsProficiency in Microsoft Office (Excel, PowerPoint, Word, Outlook) and CRM tools (Salesforce preferred)Strong organizational, time management, and decision-making abilitiesAbility to manage multiple priorities in a fast-paced environmentResilience under pressure and sound judgment on when to escalate issuesMust be authorized to work in the United States without current or future sponsorshipBenefitsQuarterly bonus programCompany vehicleMedical insurance plansDental and vision coverage401(k)Flexible time off plans, including paid parental leave, vacation and holiday leaveCompany Overviewcopeland provides comfort to the people though sustainable recidential, commercial and through HVACR Technologies.
