[Remote] Regional Sales Leader

The Regional Sales Leader will partner with agency owners to drive business growth, provide strategic consulting, and coach sales agents to achieve sales and retention targets.ResponsibilitiesDevelops regional growth strategies informed by 'agency profiles', market trends, and performance dataServes as a strategic lead for driving production across assigned agenciesBe the main resource for agents to engage and drive production with new business policy salesDevelop and coach sales agents within assigned agencies while proactively evaluating the sales skills of agents & implementing training strategiesProactively identifies retention trends and reviews individual agency results to identify new business sales trends and address quickly if neededLeads performance reporting for assigned region, providing forecasts, risk assessments, and strategic recommendations to leadership, including agencies in jeopardy of closure due to low productivityDrives weekly/daily sales meetings with agents to ensure prospect pipeline and production results are in line with assigned objectivesMaintains documentation of activities and follows up in appropriate systems regularly and accuratelyUnderstands national & regional carriers’ appetite while educating agencies on how to capitalize on eachUnderstands critical attributes of sales leadership, identifying positive sales behaviors and resolving any negative behaviorsParticipate in the Day of Discovery to explain role and agency expectationsParticipate in onboarding of new agents, when neededCollaborates with marketing to develop and optimize localized sales enablement tools and ensure agency adoptionEnsure agencies understand and adhere to BW established quality standardsCultivates positive relationships with individual agenciesSkillsP&C Licensed in home state requiredAbility to perform work with a high degree of accuracy, exceptional attention to detailExhibit a sales mentality that drives resultsMust be proficient in Microsoft Office products (Word, Excel, Outlook, PowerPoint)Superior interpersonal skillsExcellent verbal and written communicator; must be able to convey ideas in a clear and concise mannerExcellent independent judgment and decision makingAbility to quickly gain an understanding of Brightway systems; regularly updates activities accuratelyAbility to learn, embrace and put into practice new concepts and skills as neededSuperior ability to manage own time, activities and resources; models' behavior for othersCan demonstrate Brightway valuesSuperior ability to influence others, as a leaderDemonstrates ability to consistently influence agents' behaviorsThis position requires a high school diploma and 6+ years of sales leadership experience, preferably in P&C insurance sales managementA college degree is preferredCompany OverviewBrightway Insurance has re-invented the way people shop for insurance.
