[Remote] Regional PLCM Project Manager (Remote)
Note: The job is a remote job and is open to candidates in USA. Jabil is looking to add a Project Life Cycle Management Project Manager (PLCM PM) to their US regional new site development team. The role involves providing leadership and coordination for new site development projects, ensuring adherence to project management best practices, and managing team performance and resources. This position requires significant travel throughout the US and focuses on establishing project management processes in new locations.ResponsibilitiesWorks with Senior management defining strategies and their deploymentWorks with site Ops PMO Mgr in strategies and tools deployment and their performanceWorks with Operations leaders to develop project-resourcing strategies to ensure optimum support for projects and for the day-to-day operational activitiesHire and train site PLCM PMs for the new sitesEnsure PLCM process is established in the new sitesEnsures that all projects and initiatives in project management services are aligned with Operations strategy and prioritiesPrepare, analyze and report enterprise wide report to the senior managementEnsures adoption and implementation of project management methodology and tools and oversees project and management coachingManages the development, implementation, and maintenance of project management policies, standards, proceduresWork with Project Managers to review, monitor project and site healthEstablish and implement metrics that measure project performanceDetermine the project health by measuring the variance in scope, schedule, cost and quality from the respective baselinesDevelop and maintain Executive dashboard Provide reporting to senior management and stakeholdersConducts periodic project auditsResource usage tracking and ensure the optimized usage of resourcesWork within the defined standards and procedures as set out by Jabil and the customer to successfully delivery the projectsProvide processes, structure and motivation to project managers to successfully achieve project goal and corporate initiativesManage Site Ops PMO Mgr who develop project plans with focus on achievement of project goals and corporate initiatives, including project specific Key Performance Indicators (KPI’s) or metrics to ensure standards are adhered to and best practiceResponsible for forecasting project budget and HR needs for current and future regional needsProvide leaders with updates, including greatest opportunities for improvementDemonstrate a commitment to customer service; anticipate, meet and exceed expectations by solving problems quickly and effectively, making customer issues a priorityCoach Project Managers through difficult decision making situationsBuild Ops PMO team to address the project execution for multi or enterprise level projectsProvide processes, structure and motivation to project managers to successfully achieve project goal and corporate initiativesTracks, evaluates and reports on deliverable status from the regionMay perform other duties and responsibilities as assignedSkillsBachelor's degree (Required)Minimum 5+ years project management experience or related disciplineMinimum three (3) years work-related experience required in a supervisory/management roleMust have PLCM experience in an industrial industryExperience developing and training PM staffMust be able to travel upto 75%Knowledge of Jabil operating policies and procedures requiredProficiency in use of personal computers, Microsoft Office products (Excel, Word and PowerPoint) and e-mail skills requiredStrong operational and financial knowledge requiredGood communications skillsDemonstrated team leadership capabilitiesPerson should have the following personal characteristics: strong leader, professional, hard-charging, detail-oriented, reliable, calm under fire, creative, with a can-do attitudeMaster Degree (Preferred)Greenfield or brownfield project experience (Preferred)Project Management Professional (PMP) certification (desired)BenefitsAs part of the total rewards package, this position is eligible for a short-term incentive based on performance.Jabil offers benefits to enhance your health, wealth, and resilient self.Medical, dental, and vision insurance plansPaid time off accruing at a rate of 3.07 hours during your first year of employment4 weeks of paid parental leaveIn 2026, 11 company-paid holidays (9 fixed holidays and 2 optional floating holidays), subject to change yearly401(k) retirement planEmployee stock purchase planCompany OverviewJabil is a product solutions company providing comprehensive design, manufacturing, supply chain and product management services.
