The role involves managing a territory, achieving sales goals, and providing support to advisors while maintaining TRA's reputation in the community.ResponsibilitiesDevelop and manage an assigned territoryWork to achieve annual sales goalsDevelop new prospects and referral sources to increase retirement plan salesProvide support to advisors and wholesalers within a defined territoryAnalyze plan providers, coordinate RFP responses and prepare prospect proposalsOrganize and coordinate educational services for advisorsCommunicate plan design concepts to advisors and plan sponsorsAccurately forecast future closed salesAttend semi-annual live Team meetingsTravel requiredOutstanding TRA Corporate Citizen dedicated to maintaining TRA’s reputation at all times in the communities we touchOther responsibilities as assignedSkillsApplicants must currently live in one of the states listed: Pacific NW: Washington, Oregon, Idaho, Wyoming, Montana; Mid South: North Carolina, South Carolina, Tennessee; CaliforniaCompletion of ASPPA RPF1 & RPF2 examinations within one year of hireProficient in the Microsoft suite of productsGeneral understanding of mutual funds assets classes and expense ratiosWorking knowledge of qualified plans - in particular 401(k) plansProfessional presentation and communication skillsDetailed orientedAbility to work well independently and be driven to succeed with a strong sense of initiative and ownershipUnderstanding of regulatory aspects of defined contribution plan administration and other defined contribution regulatory issues involving ERISA and IRS Revenue RulingsStrong organizational and problem solving skills, with the ability to track multiple tasks and issues, set goals and prioritize tasks in a high volume and fast paced environmentCompletion of Kravitz Cash Balance Consultant Certification program within 6 months of accepting positionUndergraduate degree preferredTwo years of sales experience preferredBenefitsIncentive pay based on performance through commissions and bonusFull timeEligible for our benefits packageCompany OverviewThe Retirement Advantage, Inc.
