This role involves providing training, analysis, and consultation to facilities, ensuring compliance with regulations, and promoting best practices in therapy operations.ResponsibilitiesProvides consultation, training and support for assigned areaAnalyzes systems and processes to ensure compliance that federal and state regulations as well as company policies and procedures are followedWorks in conjunction with teams to resolve issues, endorse changes and conduct follow-ups to establish that recommendations are effectively implemented and monitored for appropriatenessPromotes compliance by performing periodic audits of assessments, supporting documentation, and other relevant dataRecognizes, advises and promotes facility best practices and systemsSkillsTherapist with completion of degree in from accredited program and licensed in the state of employmentThree to five years of clinical experience in a long-term care setting, which includes supervisory, administrative or consultative capacitiesMUST HAVE prior multi-site SNF management with a background in clinical processes, training and mentoringCurrent knowledge of computer technology and systemsAbility to work independently with minimal supervision and guidance, yet successfully collaborate with teams internally and externallyExtensive knowledge of PDPM, Medicare reimbursement, compliance and eligibilityExperience with Rehab Optima or Net Health documentation systemsBASED in Massachusetts; must be willing and able to travel (consistent overnight travel required)Multi-site SNF Rehab management: 3 yearsWillingness to travel: 50%Benefits401(k)Dental insuranceHealth insuranceLife insurancePaid time offTravel reimbursementVision insuranceCompany OverviewFuture Care Consultants is a consultation firm that specializes in medical management and cost containment services.
