[Remote] Regional Human Resources Generalist - West Region

In this essential role, you will provide consultative and operational HR support to managers and employees across the western region of the Firm, ensuring effective delivery of core HR processes and promoting a positive employee experience.ResponsibilitiesServe as the primary HR contact for assigned regional offices and provide day-to-day HR support to managers and employeesPartner with office leadership to support employee engagement, staffing needs, and workplace initiativesSupport employee performance matters and manager coaching in coordination with the Employee Relations ManagerSupport onboarding and offboarding activities and serve as the regional point of contact while partnering with Recruiting and HR operations teamsRespond to employee and manager questions regarding HR policies, procedures, benefits, and workplace practices, facilitating connections with centralized HR teams when specialized support is neededEscalate complex employee relations matters to the Employee Relations Manager as appropriateAssist with implementation of HR programs, initiatives, and organizational changes across assigned officesEnsure HR documentation related to assigned offices is accurate, complete, and submitted timely to HR Operations in accordance with established proceduresMonitor compliance with firm policies, employment laws, and internal proceduresCoordinate leave administration, accommodations, and other employee support processes with appropriate HR partnersSupport annual HR processes including performance reviews, benefits open enrollment, and compliance trainingAnalyze trends and identify opportunities to improve employee experience and operational efficiency within assigned officesExercise sound judgment to independently resolve routine HR matters while identifying situations requiring escalation to centralized HR partnersSkillsMust reside in CaliforniaExperience supporting multiple locations or decentralized work environmentsBachelor's degree or equivalent combination of education and experienceMinimum 3 to 5 years of progressive HR generalist experience, including substantial California expertiseDemonstrated experience supporting California employment practices and applying California employment lawsStrong interpersonal, communication, and conflict-resolution skillsAbility to build effective relationships with managers and employees at all levelsStrong organizational skills with the ability to manage multiple priorities and deadlinesAbility to handle sensitive and confidential information with professionalism and discretionProficiency in Microsoft Office Suite and HRIS systemsExperience in professional services, legal, or corporate environments preferredBenefitsHealth, dental, and vision insuranceA 401(k) with profit sharingGenerous paid time offHolidays24/7 telehealth servicesA variety of wellness programsAdditional optional benefits designed to support your unique lifestyleCompany OverviewFisher Phillips is a law firm that offers legal assistance in a wide range of labor and employment issues, as well as counseling services.
