[Remote] Regional Director of Operations (RDO)

They are seeking an experienced Regional Director of Operations (RDO) to oversee a portfolio of skilled nursing facilities across Delaware and West Virginia, ensuring operational performance, quality outcomes, and compliance with regulations.ResponsibilitiesProvide strategic leadership and operational oversight to Licensed Nursing Home Administrators and facility leadership teams throughout the regionDrive operational performance, quality outcomes, census growth, workforce stability, and financial success across assigned facilitiesEnsure compliance with federal, state, and company regulations, policies, and standardsPartner with clinical, finance, human resources, reimbursement, and compliance teams to achieve organizational goals and operational efficienciesAnalyze facility performance metrics and implement action plans to improve quality measures, survey outcomes, labor management, and profitabilityConduct regular on-site visits to support administrators, monitor progress, and ensure accountabilityLead recruitment, mentorship, and succession planning efforts for facility leadership positionsFoster a culture of excellence, accountability, resident-centered care, and continuous improvementSupport facilities during surveys, audits, regulatory reviews, and operational challengesServe as the primary liaison between regional operations and corporate leadershipSkillsActive DE or WV Nursing Home Administrator (NHA) license requiredAbility to obtain and maintain WV, DE, MD Nursing Home Administrator licensureBachelor's degree in Healthcare Administration, Business Administration, or related field requiredMinimum of five (5) years of multi-facility leadership experience within skilled nursing or long-term care operationsDemonstrated success improving operational performance, financial outcomes, regulatory compliance, and clinical quality metricsStrong understanding of federal and state regulations governing long-term care operationsExceptional leadership, communication, coaching, and relationship-building skillsProven ability to analyze financial statements, budgets, labor reports, and operational data to drive performance improvementsAbility to travel extensively throughout Delaware and West Virginia.
