[Remote] Regional Accountant - West Coast (56038)

Note: The job is a remote job and is open to candidates in USA. Diamond Baseball Holdings (DBH) is the owner and operator of multiple minor league baseball teams across North America. The Accountant will play a crucial role in maintaining accurate financial records and supporting the daily operations of the finance department, focusing on monthly close, revenue recognition, balance sheet reconciliations, and internal controls.ResponsibilitiesRecord accounting transactions in the NetSuite ERP to ensure compliance with U.S. GAAPManage accounts receivableComplete monthly balance sheet reconciliationsOrganize and maintain digital and physical financial recordsSupport the Accounting and Finance departments with month-end and year-end closing activitiesPrepare reports and summaries for financial review for Club General Managers, including monthly budget vs. actual reviewsWork alongside other regional staff accountants to determine areas of automation, standardization and enhancementHelp compile various reports for compliance, such as Major League Baseball reporting and stadium rent reportingAssist with annual budgeting and periodic forecasting updatesRespond to routine inquiries from vendors and internal departments regarding payments and invoicesAssist in ensuring compliance with company financial policies and proceduresSkillsDegree in Accounting or FinanceProficiency in Microsoft Excel and other Microsoft Office applicationsExperience with NetSuite accounting software and Bill.com preferredInterest or experience in sports or the entertainment industryCompany OverviewThe Albuquerque Isotopes is a Minor League Baseball team based in Albuquerque, New Mexico.
