ITO EN (North America) INC. is seeking a Region Account Manager – Grocery Northeast to lead the development and execution of strategic initiatives aimed at driving revenue growth and market share within the Grocery and Natural channel. The role requires a deep understanding of the CPG industry and involves building strong relationships with key customers, developing sales strategies, and collaborating with various teams to achieve business objectives.ResponsibilitiesDevelop and implement a comprehensive sales strategy for the Grocery channel to achieve revenue, profitability, and growth targetsIdentify and prioritize market opportunities, aligning resources to maximize impact and return on investmentLead the creation and execution of promotional strategies and programs tailored to the Grocery environmentBuild and maintain strong relationships with key Grocery customers, including national and regional chains in both Conventional and NaturalCollaborate with account teams to deliver tailored solutions that meet customer needs and drive mutual growthNegotiate contracts and agreements to secure favorable terms while fostering long-term partnershipsAnalyze market trends, customer data, and competitive activities to identify growth opportunities and refine sales strategiesMonitor performance metrics and adjust tactics to ensure the achievement of sales and profitability goalsStay informed on industry innovations and Grocery consumer behavior to maintain a competitive edgeDemonstrate the aptitude to manage and mentor a team of sales professionals, fostering a culture of collaboration, accountability, and high performanceAs the channel grows, provide coaching and development opportunities to future new headcount to enhance team skills and advance career growthPartner with marketing, product development, and supply chain teams to align Grocery strategies with overall business objectivesProvide market insights to guide product innovation and ensure alignment with customer and consumer needsWork closely with finance to set and manage budgets, pricing strategies, and promotional investmentsDeliver regular updates to senior leadership on sales performance, market conditions, and strategic initiativesDevelop accurate forecasts and provide input into business planning processesSkillsBachelor's degree in Business, Marketing, or a related field3-5 years of experience in sales, with a focus on the Grocery channel in the CPG industryProven ability to build and execute successful sales strategies within a fast-paced, dynamic environmentExceptional leadership and team management skillsStrong negotiation, communication, and relationship-building abilitiesProficiency in TPM software, Microsoft Office Suite, and data analysis toolsWillingness to travel as neededMaster's degreeBenefitsCompetitive salary and performance-based bonuses.Comprehensive health, dental, and vision insurance.Retirement savings plan with company match.Generous paid time off and holidays.Opportunities for professional growth and advancement.Company OverviewITO EN (North America) INC., a subsidiary of ITO EN LTD., is an beverage industry leader dedicated to creating authentic products that embody the company’s five principles of Natural, Safe, Healthy, Well-designed and Delicious.
