This role involves drafting technical documents, maintaining architecture artifacts, and ensuring alignment with ServiceNow's architectural frameworks.ResponsibilitiesDraft product connection diagrams from architecture decisions provided by the teamMaintain and version reference architecture artifacts across the NoN and Better Together portfolioProduce technical one-pagers for each mini reference architectureEnsure diagrams align with ServiceNow architectural frameworks and platform conventionsCatalog current SSO customizations module by module (SIR, VR, IRM)Compare customizations against the OOTB baseline to identify configuration driftFlag and document divergence points with enough detail for engineering and leadership reviewMaintain a living delta log as the baseline evolves across releasesDraft raw narratives from reference architectures for use in customer and executive engagementsBuild first-pass one-pagers for the NoN team on new or updated architecturesAdapt existing materials for distinct audiences: CISO-facing vs. practitioner-facingMaintain a versioned content library of approved narratives, diagrams, and talking pointsSkills3+ years working with enterprise security platforms in an architecture, pre-sales engineering, or technical consulting capacityDemonstrated ability to translate architectural concepts and verbal/written direction into clean, publishable diagramsProficiency with diagramming tools such as Visio, Lucidchart, draw.io, or equivalentWorking knowledge of SIR, VR, and/or IRM modules — you understand the data model, not just the marketing slidesStrong written communication skills; you can write for a CISO and then rewrite the same content for a SOC analystComfort operating with directional input — you ask clarifying questions early and produce clean first drafts, not perfect onesServiceNow Certified System Administrator (CSA) or Certified Implementation Specialist (CIS) — Security, Risk, or related trackServiceNow Certified Technical Architect (CTA) or equivalent architectural credential — this materially accelerates your time to value in this roleFamiliarity with MITRE ATT&CK, NIST CSF, or similar security frameworks as they relate to platform use case designExperience supporting a Customer Zero, lighthouse, or reference customer programBackground in GTM, field enablement, or product marketing in a security or risk technology contextBenefitsBenefit options available through Magnit Global, depending on contract factors and upon meeting requirements.Company OverviewServiceNow is an AI platform that delivers IT operations, field service management and app engine solutions.
