[Remote] Recruiting Partner (Full-Time, Fixed-Term — 1 Year)

The Recruiting Partner will manage the full hiring lifecycle, partner with hiring managers, and ensure a high-quality candidate experience while promoting inclusive hiring practices.ResponsibilitiesPartner with Hiring Managers to define and drive hiring strategies, including role scope, sourcing approach, and evaluation designAct as the expert on talent assessment by designing high-quality take-home assignments and structured exercises that surface meaningful, role-specific signals and predict post-hire performanceAssess candidates against Code.org’s cultural principles with the same rigor as functional skills and coach Hiring Managers and interviewers to do the sameCoach Hiring Managers and interviewers to improve calibration and decision-makingOwn the full recruiting lifecycle for assigned roles, with accountability for hiring outcomesActively source candidates through LinkedIn, job boards, referrals, and creative channels to build diverse, high-quality pipelinesConduct screening calls and informational interviews to assess skills, motivation, and alignment with Code.org’s missionDeliver a high-quality, transparent candidate experience throughout the processIdentify hiring risks, bottlenecks, and opportunities, and drive course correctionFacilitate interviews and debriefs, with a focus on rigor, equity, and efficiencyBuild strong partnerships with Hiring Managers by providing data-informed recommendations, market insights, best practices with talent assessment, and structured feedback loopsMaintain meticulous records and data accuracy in Greenhouse and other recruiting systems; track and report on key recruiting metrics to identify trends and opportunities for improvementPartner with the People & Culture team on offers, onboarding, and continuous process improvementChampion inclusive hiring practices and uphold ethical standards in the use of recruiting tools, including AIContinuously iterate on sourcing strategies, tools, and processes to improve quality of hireRepresent Code.org’s mission and culture authentically in every candidate interactionSkills5+ years of full-cycle recruiting experience, ideally in mission-driven or tech-focused organizationsProven success owning searches end-to-end, including sourcing, assessment, and closing candidates across a variety of roles and levelsDemonstrated ability to act as a strategic advisor to Hiring Managers and influence decision-making with data and insightsProven experience designing or co-developing effective talent assessments such as take-home assignments, case studies, or structured exercises that lead to high-quality hiresA clear and specific methodology for assessing cultural principles and behaviors, with examples of how that methodology has changed hiring outcomesAbility to operate independently with sound judgment in ambiguous or fast-changing environmentsStrong attention to detail and ability to manage multiple roles and workflows simultaneouslyExcellent project management, communication, and relationship-building skillsExperience with an ATS (e.g., Greenhouse) and sourcing tools; familiarity with LinkedIn Recruiter and recruiting automation toolsComfort using data and metrics to improve hiring outcomes and efficiencyBias for action and proactive approach to identifying issues and driving outcomes forwardInterest in technology and AI trendsBe a U.S. Citizen or Permanent ResidentWork within the continental United StatesPass a pre-employment background checkBe willing to travel a minimum of two times per year for team eventsBenefitsTechnology subsidy consistent with our Bring Your Own Device environmentFlexible, engaging, and remote working environmentPaid time off: 5 weeks total, comprised of 3 weeks vacation annually, plus a 2-week winter break office closure (including Christmas and New Year's), and sick leaveMedical, dental and vision premiums paid at 100% for FT positions and their dependentsOption to participate in 403b retirement planAnnual professional development stipendCompany OverviewCode.org is a non-profit foundation focusing on developing computer programming education in the U.S. It was founded in 2012, and is headquartered in Seattle, Washington, USA, with a workforce of 51-200 employees.
