The role involves candidate identification, market intelligence, and supporting the search management team in various capacities to ensure successful searches.ResponsibilitiesWork closely with the search management team to provide market research and other support to complete retained searches, including name generationCollaborate with the team in developing ideal candidate profiles and key criteria/requirements while supporting the identification, persuasion, and evaluation processMaster and utilize our various cloud-based software systems and toolsHelp to ensure that Spectrum’s internal CRM is up to date with the latest search information, including candidate details, status, resumes, and compensation informationAssist in developing materials that support the search process (Position Profiles, Scorecard Assessments, Active Candidate Reports, and Meeting Recap Notes)Prepare lists that support the identification process of prospective candidatesOver time, comprehend and articulate our client’s value propositions to prospective candidatesProvide vital background information on prospects and potential new clientsDevelop Competitive Intelligence and Private Equity industry researchSkills2 to 4+ years of full-time professional business experience is requiredA background in sales, marketing, human resources, accounting, or consulting is highly desiredPositive and enthusiastic disposition with a desire to develop a long-term, successful careerA collaborative team player with an honest and ethical mindset is criticalBrings a self-starter mentality– must be reliable and able to meet deadlines ('do whatever it takes')Must take pride in doing top-quality work, brings a 'strive for excellence' philosophyIntensely curious – must have a love for continuous learning about businesses and their industries, along with the understanding that the right talent drives outcomesMust be highly organized and able to multitask, handle pressure situations, and communicate with sophisticated individuals (strong written and verbal communication skills)Extremely strong with technology tools such as LinkedIn, PitchBook, ATS, CRM, and Microsoft OfficeFour-year undergraduate degree requiredPrior experience in executive search or private equity is not required, but a major plusPrior experience in a sports program or team environment where collaboration is valued is preferredBenefitsA front-row seat to the private equity world – you will work on searches for some of the most dynamic, high-growth businesses in the country, backed by the most sophisticated investors in the market.
