The Recruiter will execute recruiting activities including sourcing, screening, and candidate coordination to support timely hiring in a fast-paced environment, while managing applicant tracking and maintaining talent pipelines.ResponsibilitiesCollaborate with site management to identify recruiting needs and clarify job specifications, required skills, qualifications, and position requirementsReview, verify, and ensure accuracy of job postings to confirm alignment with approved hiring needs prior to sourcingSource qualified applicants through advertising, job boards, career fairs, online platforms, and social/professional networksParticipate in hiring events and engage with external sourcing partners (e.g., local hiring centers, driving schools, and similar organizations) to increase the talent pipelineUtilize targeted sourcing strategies and specialized job boards, as needed, to increase application flow for hard-to-fill rolesEstablish and maintain an applicant pipeline to support current and anticipated hiring needs, providing regular updates and feedback to stakeholdersScreen applications and conduct initial candidate screenings to assess qualifications, job fit, and overall suitabilityCoordinate interviews with hiring managers and manage candidate communication throughout the interview and hiring processConduct background checks, verifications, and maintain accurate candidate records in the applicant tracking systemPartner closely with the onboarding team to ensure smooth employee transition from hiring to onboardingPromote a business partner and ownership mindset to the team to prioritize customer service excellence, adoption and resilience to change and continuous improvementSkillsStrong organizational skillsAbility to partner closely with site managementExperience in sourcing, screening, and candidate coordinationAbility to verify alignment of job postings with approved hiring needsExperience in building and maintaining talent pipelines through diverse sourcing channelsExperience managing applicant tracking system recordsExperience conducting background checks and verificationsAbility to coordinate interviews with hiring managersAbility to manage candidate communication throughout the interview and hiring processCompany OverviewLazer Logistics is a logistics company that provides yard spotting, yard shuttle, and trailer services.
