They are seeking an experienced Recruiter to manage the full recruitment cycle for scientific roles within their Research & Development team, emphasizing talent acquisition in the life sciences sector.ResponsibilitiesLead the full-cycle recruitment process for R&D teams across various scientific groups, including CMC, nonclinical, clinical, regulatory, quality and project managementCollaborate with hiring managers and department leaders to understand team needs and create tailored recruitment strategies to meet those needsSource, attract, and evaluate candidates through a combination of methods, including job boards, LinkedIn, professional networks, and direct outreachConduct initial pre-screenings, in-depth interviews, and assessments to ensure candidates meet technical requirements and organizational culturalPartner with Senior Director, HR and the hiring manager to refine job descriptions, interview processes, and candidate pipelinesMaintain and manage recruitment activities in the applicant tracking system (e.g., Paylocity), ensuring up-to-date and accurate tracking of candidate progress and hiring statusBuild and maintain a strong talent pipeline for current and future openingsStay current on industry trends and talent pools within the vaccine, biotech, and pharmaceutical sectorsRepresent the company at job fairs, networking events, and conferences to promote the employer brand and attract top talentProvide a positive candidate experience through effective communication and feedback throughout the hiring processMay assist with the recruitment process of non-R&D positions that support R&D (such as finance, grants & contracts), if neededProvide backup coverage for new hire orientation, ensuring a smooth and welcoming onboarding experience when primary coverage is unavailableCoordinate with HR team members, hiring managers, and internal stakeholders to support onboarding logistics and timely completion of pre-employment and orientation activitiesSupport broader talent acquisition initiatives and programs, such as process improvements, employer branding efforts, workforce planning, and recruitment metrics, as assignedSkillsMinimum 5 years of experience as a recruiter with a strong focus on life sciences, (biotech, or pharmaceutical industries); experience with vaccine R&D a plusProven experience in hiring R&D teams, including roles in scientific research, R&D engineering, clinical development, and related fieldsFamiliarity with the product development processStrong interpersonal skills with the ability to communicate effectively with candidates and internal stakeholders at all levelsAbility to manage multiple requisitions in a fast-paced, deadline-driven environmentStrong sourcing skills using both traditional and creative methods to attract passive candidatesExcellent organizational skills and attention to detailBachelor's degree in related field preferredFamiliarity with Paylocity software for candidate tracking and management is highly preferredCompany OverviewA non-profit organization that promotes advances in vaccine development, delivery and distribution focusing on polio, rubella, rotavirus.
