[Remote] Real Property Damage Claims Adjuster
Note: The job is a remote job and is open to candidates in USA. Reserv is an insurtech focused on creating AI and automation technology for claims efficiency. The Real Property Damage Claims Adjuster will provide high-quality customer service, manage claims inventory, and facilitate negotiations and settlements.
Responsibilities
ā¢ Provide prompt, courteous and high-quality customer service to all policyholders and claimants by answering customer calls and resolving customer requests
ā¢ Gather necessary information from customers to initiate the claim and determine the appropriate course of action
ā¢ Manage an inventory of claims, establish initial reserves for all potential exposures, and adjust as appropriate throughout the claim
ā¢ Coordinate the repair, if necessary, for the property damage
ā¢ Recognize requirements for potential escalation should the loss no longer meet criteria for your handling
ā¢ Communicate and coordinate with involved parties regarding negotiations and settlement
ā¢ Provide input for continuous development best practices, and process improvements
Skills
ā¢ Bachelor's degree (lack of one should not stop you from applying if you possess all the other qualifications)
ā¢ Minimum of 1 year experience with insurance claims and/or customer service
ā¢ Active adjuster license required: resident state license if available, otherwise a Designated Home State (DHS) license
ā¢ Experience with handling real property damage, this is not required but encouraged
