The RCM Automation Program Manager is responsible for the day-to-day execution and delivery of AI and automation programs for assigned clients, managing automation roadmaps and ensuring production stability across deployed solutions.ResponsibilitiesManage day-to-day delivery of AI and automation engagements for assigned client programs - owning scope execution, sprint planning, milestone tracking, and risk escalation to the AVP of Program Management Advise on technical setup and configuration strategy for automation platforms (UiPath, Power Automate), AI/ML applications, supporting infrastructure, and credential/access managementSet up and manage cross-department AI and automation program governance at the client level, including steering committees, status reporting cadences, and decision logsImplement and manage the AI and automation lifecycle operating model for assigned clients, including:Integrating AI and automation lifecycle processes into the client's existing operational frameworkCreating and maintaining procedural documentation, runbooks, and operational training materials Build, manage, and execute the client AI and automation roadmap in alignment with the strategic direction set by the AVP of Program Management Implement and oversee the maintenance strategy for deployed solutions, including:Developing maintenance dashboards and KPIsDeveloping and implementing SOPs and SLAs for automation supportMonitoring AI model/agent performance, flagging drift or degradation, and coordinating remediationCoordinate solution architect(s) throughout solution identification, feasibility assessment, and design - ensuring alignment with client requirements and program prioritiesCoordinate AI and automation developer(s) throughout development, testing, UAT, deployment, and post-deployment stabilizationManage workload allocation and sprint capacity across assigned development resources, escalating staffing constraints to the AVP of Program ManagementServe as the primary operational point of contact for client stakeholders on program status, deliverable timelines, and issue resolutionReport out to health system senior leadership on program updates, blockers and key milestonesWork closely with the client automation program sponsor to ensure stakeholder alignment, timely feedback on deliverables, and resolution of blockersSurface expansion opportunities and unmet client needs to the AVP of Program Management for evaluation and scopingMaintain working knowledge of current AI and automation technologies, including agentic automation frameworks, intelligent document processing, and large language model integrations relevant to healthcare RCMEvaluate and recommend AI and automation tooling and approaches for client use cases, in coordination with the AVP of Program Management and solution architecture teamSupport proof-of-concept and pilot initiatives for new AI capabilities within assigned client programsContribute to the development and refinement of Tarpon's delivery methodology, templates, and operational standards. Scale and improve the operations and processes needed to support the Managed Service DeliverablesDocument and share reusable patterns, lessons learned, and implementation playbooks across the delivery teamParticipate in Tarpon Community activities specific to Program Management activities, including but not limited to: Program Management Certification training, Webinars, Research, User GroupsSkillsBachelor's degree in Computer Science, Business Administration, Healthcare Administration, or a related field5+ years of experience in healthcare operations, with a strong understanding of revenue cycle processes (denials, A/R follow-up, claims, coding, patient access)3 – 5 years of proven experience in program management, project management, or a related delivery leadership role3+ years of experience designing and developing scalable automation solutions using platforms such as UiPath, Automation Anywhere, Blue Prism, or Power Automate1+ years of practical experience with AI/ML technologies in a professional setting – including any combination of: LLM-based workflows, intelligent document processing, agentic automation, AI-assisted decision support, or prompt engineeringProficiency in process mapping tools such as Visio, Lucidchart, Canva, or GitMindFamiliarity with budget tracking, resource planning, and sprint/delivery managementExcellent communication skills (written and verbal) for reporting, presentations, and stakeholder engagementSelf-motivated and resourceful with the ability to independently work with multiple customers and meet deadlinesStrategic thinker, strong analytical and problem-solving skillsStrong process improvement backgroundStrong leadership and interpersonal skills, with the ability to motivate and guide teamsCompany OverviewTarpon Health is a healthcare automation company that provides revenue cycle management solutions.
