The role involves managing sales territories, growing existing accounts, and selling genetic diagnostic testing services to new customers while advocating the clinical and financial benefits of the products.ResponsibilitiesManage a sales territoryLive in the designated territoryManage and grow business in existing Ambry accountsExpand menu utilization in existing accountsSell genetic diagnostic testing services to new customersNegotiate and manage contractsIntroduce new testing productsDevelop demand for and adoption of new assaysDevelop and implement customer-specific action plansDevelop and deliver presentationsHost and assist with trade showsManage customer data in the company databaseAchieve sales goalsOther duties as assignedSkills3+ years of industry experience selling laboratory services to clinicians and hospitals or medical device salesBachelor's Degree and/or combined years of experience requiredSkilled in Microsoft Word, Excel, PowerPoint applicationsSkilled using a CRM applications such as com or Microsoft CRMStrong track record of sales success selling a broad portfolio of laboratory testing to different medical specialtiesAbility to sell technically complex productsExpertise with demand creation in a large geographyStrengths in networking and relationship developmentStrong oral and written communications skillsSome formal sales training experience such as SPIN Selling or PSSStrong time and territory management skillsPossess and maintain a current, valid driver license unless agreed upon otherwiseBachelor's Degree is highly preferredExperience with customer base within territoryBenefitsYou are eligible for an uncapped Sales Incentive Plan with the target of $75,000 annually; terms and conditions apply.Company OverviewTempus is a technology company advancing precision medicine through the practical application of artificial intelligence in healthcare.
