[Remote] Quality Engineer I

As a Quality Engineer I, you will support quality assurance processes and collaborate with teams to uphold quality standards, ensuring high-quality products for customers. Responsibilities Support the quality assurance processes by conducting product and process audits to identify areas for improvement Implement corrective and preventive actions to address quality issues and enhance product quality Collaborate with cross-functional teams to define quality standards and metrics that align with organizational objectives Participate in internal and external quality audits Management of nonconforming materials and prepares evaluation reports, analyzes discrepancies, makes recommendations for and initiates the most cost-effective Interface with supplier quality, customer quality and other teams in finding resolution to concerning problems with quality assurance and assure that effective corrective actions are implemented Skills Bachelor's degree from an accredited institution in a technical discipline such as science, technology, engineering, or mathematics Minimum 1 year of experience in quality engineering or related roles Minimum 1 year of experience in the manufacturing industry Candidates must be eligible for CGP and CSP secret security clearance Advanced engineering degrees such as ME (Mechanical Engineering) or EE (Electrical Engineering) Strong analytical and problem-solving skills Knowledge of quality management systems and methodologies Familiarity with statistical analysis tools and techniques Strong collaboration and teamwork skills Ability to drive continuous improvement initiatives Knowledge of Lean Six Sigma methodologies Familiarity with IPC-A-610 standard Familiarity with ISO 9001:2015 and/or AS9100D quality management system standard Certified internal auditor for ISO 2001:2015 and/or AS9100 quality management system standard – a plus Familiarity with electronics manufacturing environment, processes and systems Company Overview Honeywell International Inc.
