[Remote] QA Tester (Manual + Automation / UiPath)
Note: The job is a remote job and is open to candidates in USA. Citizant is a leading provider of professional IT services to the U.S. government, focusing on Agile application development and Enterprise Data Management. They are seeking a QA Tester to execute manual and automated test cases, support UiPath automation, and collaborate with Agile teams to ensure quality standards are met.
Responsibilities
ā¢ Create and execute test cases and test scripts (manual and automated) to validate functionality, reliability, and usability
ā¢ Perform smoke, regression, and integration testing across lower environments and support release validation
ā¢ Support automation testing activities related to UiPath workflows, including validation of expected outputs, exception handling, and repeatability
ā¢ Document test execution results, defects, and test evidence; follow issues through resolution with development teams
ā¢ Log, track, and manage defects and testing work items in Jira (including status updates, workflows, and traceability to stories/acceptance criteria)
ā¢ Participate in Agile ceremonies (sprint planning, reviews, retrospectives) and assist with refining acceptance criteria and test readiness
ā¢ Coordinate with developers, product owners, and stakeholders to clarify requirements and ensure quality standards are met
Skills
ā¢ 3ā5 years of experience in software testing/QA (manual with some automation exposure)
ā¢ Experience using Jira for defect tracking and/or test execution management
ā¢ Familiarity with automation testing concepts and supporting automated test execution/maintenance
ā¢ Experience with or exposure to UiPath (building, running, troubleshooting, or validating workflows/bots)
ā¢ Basic scripting experience in JavaScript or another scripting language (e.g., Python, PowerShell) for test utilities, data setup, or automation support
ā¢ Knowledge of Section 508/accessibility testing fundamentals, including how to validate common accessibility requirements; familiarity with accessibility testing tools is a plus (not required)
ā¢ Working knowledge of Agile development methodologies
ā¢ Must be a U.S. Citizen
ā¢ Must be able to obtain/maintain a background investigation (e.g., MBI or equivalent, as required by the contract)
ā¢ Current experience supporting an IRS program/contract (and use of GFE) is a plus
ā¢ Familiarity with accessibility testing tools and assistive technologies (e.g., screen readers) and/or Trusted Tester exposure (nice to have; not required)
ā¢ Familiarity with web services concepts (SOAP/API) and basic data validation (SQL) is a plus
ā¢ Bachelors degree is preferred
