[Remote] QA Tester

The QA Tester will develop test plans and test cases, ensuring adequate test coverage while working closely with clients and implementation teams.ResponsibilitiesWrite and execute manual test cases and execute test scriptsAssist test lead with the design and development of the test strategy and roadmapPerform unit testingTest and analyze software to ensure compliance with specified standards and end-user requirementsComplete tasks and activities as assigned by the project manager or test lead, and in accordance with Red Clay’s TransformOne methodologyAdhere to project schedules and budgetary constraintsParticipate in production deployments and releases to ensure successful deploymentsFacilitate user acceptance testingDocument and report defects and track defects to closure, escalating as appropriateInform the test lead of any issues that may affect the schedule, budget, or quality of the product or the testing processSkills5+ years of quality assurance manual testing experience2+ years experience testing Oracle Utilities CC&B and/or Meter Data Management systems in the utility industry is requiredExcellent oral and written communication skillsMust be able to work as a member of cross-functional project teams in matrix environmentAbility/desire to understand and rapidly learn new technologiesBachelor's Degree in Computer Science, Mathematics, Engineering or similarExperience with Automated Testing, Load and Performance Testing and or testing tools is a plusCompany OverviewRed Clay Consulting is a computer software company that provides data management services.
