[Remote] QA Test Lead – Life & Disability (Benefit Administration)

Note: The job is a remote job and is open to candidates in USA. Infoorigin Inc is seeking an experienced QA Test Lead with strong domain expertise in Life & Disability Insurance. The ideal candidate will lead QA efforts, manage test strategy, and ensure high-quality delivery across system implementations and enhancements.

Responsibilities
• Lead and manage QA activities across the full project lifecycle
• Define and implement comprehensive test strategy, test plans, and test cases
• Drive end-to-end testing for Benefit Administration module implementations
• Plan and execute testing for data/system conversion activities, including validation of migrated data and reconciliation across legacy and target systems
• Collaborate with Business Analysts, Developers, Product Owners, and stakeholders to validate requirements
• Perform Functional, System, Integration, Regression, and UAT support testing
• Ensure validation of eligibility, enrollment, billing, claims, and policy administration workflows
• Review requirements and identify gaps, ambiguities, and risk areas
• Track defects, manage defect triage meetings, and ensure timely resolution
• Mentor and guide QA team members
• Ensure adherence to QA best practices, processes, and documentation standards
• Support automation initiatives where applicable

Skills
• 6+ years of QA experience with at least 2+ years in a QA Lead role
• Strong domain experience in Life & Disability Insurance
• Hands-on experience in Benefit Administration module end-to-end implementation
• Experience in test planning and execution for system/data conversion projects
• Experience validating: Eligibility & Enrollment, Premium calculation, Billing & Payment processing, Claims integration, Policy lifecycle management
• Strong understanding of SDLC and STLC
• Experience in writing SQL queries for backend validation
• Experience with defect tracking tools (e.g., JIRA, Azure DevOps)
• Strong analytical and problem-solving skills
• Excellent communication and stakeholder management skills
• Experience in Life & Disability platforms such as Majesco, FINEOS, or similar systems
• Automation testing experience (Selenium, Cypress, or similar tools)
• Experience working in Agile/Scrum environments
• Experience in data migration and integration testing
• Knowledge of API testing (Postman/Swagger)
