[Remote] QA Engineer (Manual) - Contract

They are seeking a Manual QA Engineer for a 6–9 month contract to join their Strategic Workforce Planning product team, where the role involves analyzing requirements, designing test documentation, and executing various types of testing across their platform.ResponsibilitiesAnalyse requirements and user stories; catch gaps and inconsistencies before development startsDesign and maintain test documentation: test cases, checklists, and bug reportsExecute functional, regression, integration, and exploratory testing across the SWP platformTest REST APIs using Postman; use browser DevTools for front-end debuggingLog, track, and verify bugs in Jira; participate in triage with the development teamTake part in Agile ceremonies: sprint planning, daily stand-ups, and retrospectivesCommunicate test progress and quality status to the team clearly and proactivelySkills1–3 years of hands-on manual QA experience on commercial software projectsSolid understanding of SDLC, STLC, and Agile/Scrum methodologiesPractical experience writing test cases, checklists, and bug reportsWorking knowledge of Postman for API testingComfort with browser DevTools for basic front-end debuggingExperience with Jira for bug tracking and task managementAnalytical mindset — you think beyond happy paths and ask the right questionsUpper-Intermediate English for daily written and spoken communicationProactive attitude — you flag risks early, suggest improvements, and don't wait to be told what to test nextComfortable owning your area end-to-end: from requirements review to release sign-offBasic SQL for data verificationFamiliarity with test automation concepts (we plan to introduce automation)Experience in B2B SaaS, HRM, or workforce/HR-tech domainsBenefitsFully remote work — work from anywhere.Flexible schedule — we care about results, not hours.English and Ukrainian working environment.Company OverviewTalentNeuron is the only solution that drives workforce transformation by unifying internal talent intelligence and external market insight.
