[Remote] QA Engineer (Manual)
Note: The job is a remote job and is open to candidates in USA. Rapid Finance is an established and successful technology company seeking a QA Engineer (Manual) to improve the quality of software applications. This role involves creating and executing tests, interacting with developers and business analysts, and supporting end users with technical issues.
Responsibilities
ā¢ Perform functional, regression, integration, sanity, and ad-hoc testing
ā¢ Analyze business system requirements and develop test procedure documents
ā¢ Detect software quality issues, report and track them to resolution
ā¢ Participate in the testing of production emergency bug fixes
ā¢ Provide second tier of functional help desk support to internal and external software users
ā¢ Actively participate in the daily scrum meetings and bring up issues that create obstacles for QA
Skills
ā¢ Have a Bachelor's degree in technology, science, or mathematics-related majors or proven equivalent experience
ā¢ Knowledge and experience with SDLC methodologies, tools, and processes
ā¢ Have a minimum 3 year experience with quality assurance methodologies for web applications
ā¢ Have a minimum 3 year experience analyzing system and application failures and bugs
ā¢ Experience with requirements and specifications documentation
ā¢ Excellent communication and problem-solving skills
ā¢ Self-starter, detail-oriented, outgoing with excellent communications skills, has high integrity, and excellent research skills
ā¢ Exposure to AzureDevops and/or TFS (Team Foundation Server) tools is preferred
