This role involves creating and executing tests, interacting with developers and business analysts, and supporting end users with technical issues.ResponsibilitiesPerform functional, regression, integration, sanity, and ad-hoc testingAnalyze business system requirements and develop test procedure documentsDetect software quality issues, report and track them to resolutionParticipate in the testing of production emergency bug fixesProvide second tier of functional help desk support to internal and external software usersActively participate in the daily scrum meetings and bring up issues that create obstacles for QASkillsHave a Bachelor's degree in technology, science, or mathematics-related majors or proven equivalent experienceKnowledge and experience with SDLC methodologies, tools, and processesHave a minimum 3 year experience with quality assurance methodologies for web applicationsHave a minimum 3 year experience analyzing system and application failures and bugsExperience with requirements and specifications documentationExcellent communication and problem-solving skillsSelf-starter, detail-oriented, outgoing with excellent communications skills, has high integrity, and excellent research skillsExposure to AzureDevops and/or TFS (Team Foundation Server) tools is preferredBenefitsOur engineers will work remotely for the foreseeable future due to the current state of the pandemic.Company OverviewRapid Finance provides working capital to small and mid-sized businesses in the United States.
