[Remote] QA Engineer

The Quality Engineer will ensure high-quality experiences across various products and systems, engaging in both manual and automated testing while collaborating with multiple teams to enhance product quality.
Responsibilities
ā¢ Perform manual, exploratory, regression, integration, and end-to-end testing across multiple products and systems
ā¢ Design, build, and maintain automated tests and quality tooling using Python and modern testing frameworks
ā¢ Validate functionality across web applications, APIs, backend services, blockchain infrastructure, and protocol-level features
ā¢ Investigate issues across frontend, backend, infrastructure, and distributed systems
ā¢ Analyze logs, metrics, network traffic, and system behavior to identify root causes and quality risks
ā¢ Collaborate with Product, Engineering, DevOps, and other stakeholders throughout the development lifecycle
ā¢ Contribute to release validation, test strategy, automation initiatives, and continuous improvement efforts
ā¢ Leverage AI-powered tools and workflows to accelerate testing, automation, investigation, and overall quality engineering productivity
ā¢ Support new products, features, and initiatives as business priorities evolve
ā¢ Assist with production investigations, incident analysis, and post-release validation when needed
ā¢ Proactively identify quality gaps, process inefficiencies, and opportunities to improve product reliability and testing coverage
Skills
ā¢ Experience testing blockchain protocols, Layer 1 networks, validators, nodes, wallets, smart contract integrations, or Web3 applications
ā¢ Experience testing trading platforms, exchanges, financial systems, or other complex distributed applications
ā¢ Experience with both manual testing and test automation
ā¢ Proficiency in Python and experience developing or maintaining automation frameworks and tooling
ā¢ Experience with Playwright, Pytest, CI/CD pipelines, Docker, Kubernetes, cloud infrastructure, or similar technologies
ā¢ Experience testing and debugging REST, gRPC, WebSocket, or other API-driven systems
ā¢ Familiarity with blockchain transactions, wallet integrations, blockchain explorers, and smart contract interactions
ā¢ Strong troubleshooting and debugging skills across multiple layers of the technology stack
ā¢ Ability to quickly learn new products, technologies, and domains with minimal guidance
ā¢ Comfortable contributing across different products, technologies, and layers of the stack rather than focusing on a single specialization
ā¢ Strong sense of ownership and the ability to independently drive investigations from problem discovery through resolution
ā¢ Practical experience using AI tools to improve productivity while applying sound engineering judgment and common sense
ā¢ Strong communication and collaboration skills when working with both technical and non-technical stakeholders
ā¢ Comfortable operating in fast-paced environments with evolving priorities and challenges
