[Remote] QA Engineer

They are seeking a Quality Assurance Engineer to ensure the quality and usability of software applications throughout the development lifecycle, collaborating with various stakeholders to deliver high-quality software solutions.ResponsibilitiesDesign, execute, and maintain manual test cases based on business requirements and acceptance criteriaPerform functional, regression, smoke, exploratory, and user acceptance testing (UAT)Identify, document, prioritize, and track software defects using JiraCollaborate with Developers, Product Owners, and Project Managers to reproduce and resolve issuesParticipate actively in Agile ceremonies, including Sprint Planning, Daily Standups, Sprint Reviews, and RetrospectivesValidate completed user stories against acceptance criteria before releaseContribute to continuous improvement initiatives related to software quality and testing processesPerform cross-browser and cross-device testing using tools such as BrowserStackSupport API testing efforts when required using tools such as PostmanEnsure clear and comprehensive test documentation and bug reportsSkills2+ years of experience in Software Quality AssuranceExperience performing manual testing for web and/or mobile applicationsStrong understanding of the Software Development Life Cycle (SDLC) and Software Testing Life Cycle (STLC)Experience working in Agile/Scrum environmentsExperience using Jira for defect tracking and test managementStrong analytical and troubleshooting skillsExcellent attention to detail and organizational skillsUpper-Intermediate English level (B2) or higher, both written and verbalAbility to work independently while collaborating effectively with distributed teamsExperience with API testing using Postman or similar toolsExperience using BrowserStack or similar cross-browser testing platformsFamiliarity with test automation tools such as Playwright, Cypress, Selenium, or similar frameworksKnowledge of performance, security, or accessibility testing principlesExperience testing responsive web applications and mobile applicationsBenefits100% Remote Work Environment.Opportunity to work with international clients and projects.Collaborative and supportive team culture.Exposure to modern technologies and development practices.Professional growth and continuous learning opportunities.Flexible and results-oriented work environment.Company OverviewNetForemost offers custom software development, staff augmentation, and UI/UX design.
