[Remote] QA Automation Engineer, Browser Extension

They are seeking an experienced Automation Engineer to develop and execute automated test scripts, enhance test suites, and collaborate with teams to ensure quality in their web applications. Responsibilities • Develop and execute automated test scripts using Playwright framework • Collaborate with cross-functional teams to define, design, and implement test automation strategies • Maintain and enhance existing automated test suites to ensure they align with application updates • Identify, record, and track software defects, and verify fixes through re-testing • Perform end-to-end testing for various web applications to ensure seamless user experience • Analyze test results, generate reports, and provide feedback to the team • Integrate manual test paths using API scripts into software UI for process automation • Participate in code reviews and ensure adherence to best practices in test automation • Work with other software engineers to optimize automation development improvement and its functionality Skills • 5+ years of programming experience with Javascript and Python • Strong problem solver with focus on code design, quality and architecture • Create and manage end-to-end automated test cases using tools such as Playwright, Cypress, or similar frameworks • Working knowledge of software development methodologies and tools including experience with automated build systems, version and project control and issue tracking systems • Experience with Cross Browser Testing Like: Chrome, Firefox, and Safari • Familiarity with relational databases (SQL server, MySQL, etc.) • Experience with Browser Extension is a plus • Experience with other testing frameworks or tools (e.g., Cypress, Jest) is a plus Benefits • Medical, Dental & Vision (inclusive of domestic partnerships) • Employer Paid Life Insurance & Employee/Spouse/Child Supplemental life • Voluntary Short/Long Term Disability Insurance • 401K (Roth/Traditional) • A generous PTO plan that celebrates your commitment and seniority (including paid Bereavement/Jury Duty, etc) Company Overview • Keeper Security is transforming cybersecurity for millions of individuals and thousands of organizations globally.
