We are seeking an experienced QA Automation Engineer to design, develop, and maintain robust automated testing frameworks for enterprise web, API, and distributed systems, partnering with development teams to enhance test coverage and accelerate software delivery.ResponsibilitiesDesign and develop scalable automation frameworks for web, mobile, and API testing using tools such as Selenium, Cypress, Playwright, or AppiumWrite robust, maintainable automated test scripts that exercise critical business flows and edge casesDevelop API automation using REST Assured, Postman/Newman, or equivalent frameworksCreate and maintain regression, smoke, sanity, and functional test suitesIntegrate automation into CI/CD pipelines (Jenkins, GitHub Actions, Azure DevOps) so that tests run reliably on every changePerform cross-browser and cross-platform testing with attention to compatibility and performanceConduct database validation using SQL queries to verify data integrity end-to-endCollaborate closely with developers to improve testability, identify defects early, and shift quality leftSupport performance testing initiatives using tools such as JMeter, Gatling, or k6Maintain detailed test documentation, traceability, and defect tracking records, applying disciplined engineering practices and partnering closely with stakeholders to ensure outcomes are durable, well-documented, and aligned with broader team and platform standardsPerform root-cause analysis on production issues to drive lasting quality improvementsEnsure automation strategy aligns with DevOps and release management processesParticipate in sprint planning, backlog grooming, and quality-focused retrospectives, applying disciplined engineering practices and partnering closely with stakeholders to ensure outcomes are durable, well-documented, and aligned with broader team and platform standardsContinuously improve QA processes, frameworks, and engineering practices, applying disciplined engineering practices and partnering closely with stakeholders to ensure outcomes are durable, well-documented, and aligned with broader team and platform standardsSkillsBachelor's degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or a related technical disciplineFour or more years of QA automation experienceStrong hands-on experience with Selenium, Cypress, or PlaywrightHands-on experience automating REST APIsStrong understanding of testing methodologies and the software development lifecycleExperience integrating automation into CI/CD pipelinesSolid SQL skills for data validationExperience working in Agile/Scrum environmentsStrong debugging, problem-solving, and analytical skillsExcellent communication and documentation skillsExperience with performance testing tools (JMeter, Gatling, k6)Knowledge of containerized test environments using Docker and KubernetesExperience with cloud-based testing environments such as BrowserStack or Sauce LabsExposure to behavior-driven development frameworks (Cucumber, SpecFlow)Familiarity with security testing fundamentals (OWASP, basic penetration testing)BenefitsFull-time, direct W2 with Bright Vision Technologies (no C2C, no 1099, no third-party)Competitive base salary commensurate with experience, plus benefits.No new H1B sponsorship available.
