Sammons Financial Group is seeking a QA Analyst 4 to ensure the quality implementation of project deliverables across multiple business units. The role involves leading test automation, establishing quality gates, and mentoring QA staff while driving performance and non-functional testing initiatives.ResponsibilitiesTest Automation Leadership – Define and scale UI, API, integration, and end-to-end automation strategiesQuality Engineering Transformation – Lead the shift from traditional QA to enterprise-wide quality ownershipRelease Management & Quality Gates – Establish release readiness criteria, quality gates, and CI/CD controlsEnterprise Test Strategy – Develop risk-based testing strategies and governance across multiple ARTsCI/CD & DevOps Integration – Embed testing into development pipelines and promote shift-left quality practicesPerformance & Non-Functional Testing – Drive performance, scalability, reliability, and load testing capabilitiesAI & Agentic Testing – Leverage AI for test generation, execution, maintenance, and defect analysisRequirements Quality & Defect Prevention – Improve requirements quality, traceability, and root-cause analysis to reduce defect leakageTest Environment & Test Data Management – Optimize environments, test data, and production-like testing capabilitiesMetrics, Reporting & Leadership Communication – Define KPIs, quality dashboards, and communicate strategy and results to leadershipRoot Case Analysis - Root Cause Analysis process hardeningSkillsBachelor's Degree in Computer Science, Engineering or a related majorMinimum 6 years' quality assurance experience relative to the development and execution of test cases and analysis of testing resultsDemonstrated leadership experience, preferably in a quality assurance roleStrong mathematical aptitudeMicrosoft Excel skills and familiarity with other Microsoft tools such as Word and Access; Ability to understand and create SQL queriesStrong communication skills including verbal, written and presentation skillsStrong interpersonal skills and proven ability to work and communicate with a variety of personalities, across locations and varying organizational levelsProven ability to research, analyze and resolve problem situations using strong judgment and high level decision making skillsStrong initiative, self-motivation and ability to work independently and oversee work of othersAbility to mentor others while handling multiple projects simultaneously and work effectively under deadline pressures on complex projectsCriminal background check requiredPast applicable Quality Assurance experience, certifications, and Financial Services backgroundProven experience with test automation toolsProven experience working in Agile teamsStrong preference towards test automation experience in a cloud computing environmentUnderstanding of complex life and/or annuity products, processes and methodologiesFamiliarity with Agile frameworks and regression testing is a plusBenefitsComprehensive health coverage for you and your family, including Medical, Dental, Vision, HSA & FSA options, and term life insurance.Competitive compensation with a performance-based incentive program tied to clear goals and individual and/or company success.Invest in your future with our 100% company-funded Employee Stock Ownership Plan (ESOP), plus automatic enrollment in our 401(k).Work–life balance that means something.
