Conduct thorough assessments of patients' mental health status and history
Develop, implement, and evaluate treatment plans based on patients' needs
Provide psychotherapy and counseling to individuals, families, and groups
Monitor patients' progress and modify treatment plans as necessary
Educate patients and families about mental health conditions and treatment options
Collaborate with healthcare teams to coordinate care and improve patient outcomes
Document patient interactions and maintain accurate health records in compliance with regulations
Requirements
Current and valid Nurse Practitioner license in the United States
Certification as a Psychiatric Mental Health Nurse Practitioner (PMHNP)
Master's or Doctorate degree in Nursing or related field
At least two years of clinical experience in psychiatric nursing
Strong knowledge of mental health diagnoses and treatment modalities
Excellent communication skills, both verbal and written
Ability to work independently and manage a remote practice effectively
