[Remote] Property Research Analyst

The role involves conducting in-depth property research, gathering market data, and preparing appraisal reports while collaborating closely with appraisers.ResponsibilitiesConduct thorough research on properties using various data sources such as public records, MLS databases, tax assessor websites, and other relevant resourcesInvestigate property characteristics, zoning information, sales history, market trends, and other factors that influence property valueGather and organize data on comparable properties, market conditions, and other variables that impact valuationsSummarize findings in a clear, concise manner for use by appraisersAssist in the preparation of appraisal reports by entering researched data into appraisal software, ensuring accuracy and completenessSupport appraisers in formatting and structuring reports according to company standards and preparing current market reports as neededKeep up to date with local real estate market trends and regulatory changes that may affect property valuesAnalyze market shifts and report findings to senior appraisersWork closely with appraisers to ensure all required property data is collected, documented, and available for reviewProvide any additional research or data analysis needed during the appraisal processMaintain and organize property files, research notes, and databases in a systematic and efficient manner, ensuring quick access to information as neededReview collected data for accuracy, consistency, and completenessAddress any discrepancies or missing information before submitting it to the appraiserIn some cases, interact with clients, property owners, or other stakeholders to gather additional property-specific details or clarificationSkillsBachelor's degree; Industry related field preferredA minimum of 1+ year of experience in real estate research and/or market analysis requiredExperience in data entry/data management and time series analysis/forecastingStrong data software applications skillsStrong proficiency with MS Office Suite (MS Word, Excel)Demonstrated ability to work independently to meet goals and objectivesEffective listening and critical thinking skillsMaster of Business Administration (MBA) degree in related field preferredBenefitsHealth, vision, and dental insuranceFlexible spending accountsHealth savings accountsRetirement savings plansLife, and disability insurance programsPaid and unpaid time away from workCompany OverviewCushman & Wakefield is a real estate services firm that offers retail investment, energy management, and property services.
