Maverick Trading is hiring a fully remote Equity & Options Trader open to applicants in Paradise Valley, AZ. We are a 25+ year proprietary trading firm that allocates firm capital to disciplined traders and scales buying power based on performance and risk management.
Trading from the Southwest: Trade US markets from your local time — the NYSE opens at 7:30am Mountain and closes mid-afternoon. The Southwest combines low cost of living, strong tech-sector growth, and Mountain Time alignment — the NYSE opens at 7:30am local, giving you an early start and a long afternoon.
This is not a challenge account. Not a demo evaluation. We provide structured capital allocation for traders who want a professional path to scaling capital.
What you will do:
• Trade equities and options within defined risk parameters
• Follow a structured, rules-based risk management approach
• Build consistency and scale capital based on performance
Why options: Options allow traders to define risk, hedge exposures, and structure trades beyond simple directional stock positions. Maverick is one of the few proprietary trading firms that actively trades options as a core part of its trading approach.
