The Project Lead role focuses on delivering value to clients through data-driven decisions, managing client relationships, and supporting project management processes while contributing to the success of the team.ResponsibilitiesEnsures collection, validation, and client acceptance of core Facilities Planning dataDrives collaboration within project team and with clients to synthesize data and develop core recommendations based on findingsPresents deliverables across all solutions to a variety of client audiences, including strong recommendations for improvementActs as subject matter expert for clients and communicates industry trends, best practices, and case studies in client interactionsOwns client relationships and ensures value delivery across all solutions, leveraging support as needed from Account Executive team or Planning Services Team LeadershipReviews the work of the team based upon your solid working knowledge of facility and building systemsAssists in report development, report review, and/or quality assurance of data or databasesProactively sets the pace for a project, anticipating time requirements inclusive of potential obstacles and outside influencesEffectively and accurately plans and communicates project workflow and timing of key milestones from our account/project management softwareEnsures data integrity for all assigned accountsClearly and concisely conveys information and direction for a project team in alignment with departmental objectivesLeverages feedback and implements strategies to improve team effectivenessCreation and maintenance of project files may include proposals, statements of work, change requests and deliverablesCoordination and planning of travel for projects (including assisting staff with travel agents as needed)Project scheduling and communication of schedules to project teamsAssembly of project teams based upon project criteria, employee skills, and the company’s master scheduleOverall responsibility for delivery of successful projects and services to clientsWorks cooperatively with other Project Team Leaders, Project Managers, Account Executives, Operations Manager, Facilities Consultants, Data Analysts and othersCreates a team atmosphere that is intellectually challenging and leads to accomplishing more than expectedSupport sales and marketing as Subject Matter Expert for Planning ServicesDrives renewal of membership across all expiring renewalsIdentifies cross-sell opportunities and collaborates with Regional Account Executive to developDevelops long-term relationship management strategies for clientsDelivers thought leadership to the industryParticipates in the improvement of our products, in response to industry needs and customer feedbackSupports development of colleagues by creating a positive work environment and providing all types of feedback, including constructive criticism in difficult situationsTakes ownership of one's own development by articulating focus areas and requesting support to help achieve desired outcomesWorks to align opportunities within projects with development goals of the project team (including self)Understand and apply internal Fortive Business System tools to drive continuous improvementSkillsMinimum of Bachelor's degree or equivalent3+ years project/people management experienceStrong communication and public speaking skills including experience in developing presentation materialsStrong organizational and prioritization skills/ability to manage multiple projects simultaneouslyAnalytical skills – the ability to craft a narrative using dataProficiency in Microsoft Office Suite programs, particularly Excel and PowerPointThe ability to travel 20 to 40%Physical requirements for this role include the ability to walk around an environment for 6-8 hours on a given day, as well as the ability to occasionally ascend/descend a ladder and/or work in outdoor weather conditions as many as several times a monthExperience in Facilities Management and/or Planning and ConstructionBenefitsMedicalDentalVisionLife and LTD insuranceHSA401(k) retirement planBonus as part of the total compensation packageCompany OverviewGordian is a provider of facility and construction cost data, software, and expertise services.
