[Remote] Project Manager, YLG 4 Communications

Desjardins Financial Security Independent Network is seeking a Project Manager for YLG 4 Communications, responsible for planning, coordinating, and executing communication workflows for the Fourth Younger Leaders Gathering. The role involves managing communication outputs, ensuring clarity and consistency, and collaborating with internal and external teams to deliver materials aligned with the organization's mission.ResponsibilitiesCoordinate and track all YLG 4-related communication department projects from intake to deliveryEnsure timelines are clear, realistic, and consistently met across internal and external contributorsMaintain visibility of priorities, dependencies, and milestones leading up to and during the gatheringEstablish and manage clear workflows for internal communications, external communications, and content productionEnsure all contributors understand requirements, timelines, and approval processesSupport efficient movement of deliverables from concept through production and distributionEnsure consistency in messaging, timing, and delivery across all communication channelsSupport the integration of communication department plans into the broader YLG 4 project timelineOversee the planning, production, and delivery of all printed materials for YLG 4 (eg. participant materials, signage)Coordinate timelines, specifications, and approvals for print deliverablesEnsure quality control and alignment with Lausanne brand and editorial standardsManage relationships with external vendors, including designers, printers, translators, and other service providers related to YLG 4Oversee onboarding, briefs, timelines, and delivery expectationsEnsure timely and high-quality execution of outsourced workTrack all communication assets, including written content, design files, and print materialsMaintain organised systems for storage, naming, and accessibility of assetsEnsure version control and clarity across teamsConduct quality checks to ensure materials align with Lausanne’s brand, tone, and editorial guidelinesIdentify inconsistencies or gaps and facilitate timely resolutionIdentify workflow inefficiencies and recommend practical improvementsHelp implement tools, templates, and documentation to strengthen team effectivenessProvide regular updates on project status, risks, and timelinesEnsure key stakeholders are informed and aligned throughout all phases of the projectSkillsBachelor's degree in Communications, Project Management, Marketing, or related field (or equivalent experience)Proficiency in communications tools and platforms, including project management systems and analytics software; familiarity with content management systems (Wordpress, MailChimp, etc.) is a plusAble to manage and work efficiently within multiple projects simultaneouslyExcellent interpersonal and leadership skills, high initiative, reliability, self-motivation, self-management, and strong alignment with the organization's mission and valuesDemonstrated experience managing multiple projects, ideally in a communications, event or creative environmentStrong organizational skills and attention to detailExcellent communication skills and the ability to coordinate across multiple teamsAbility to work independently, manage priorities, and maintain strong follow-throughAlignment with the Lausanne Movement's mission and valuesFollower of Jesus ChristAffirmation of The Lausanne Covenant (www.lausanne.org/covenant)Ability to interact sensitivity with people from diverse Christian theological perspectives within the global Body of Christ, under the common commitment of The Lausanne CovenantEmbraces the spirit of Lausanne described as a spirit of humility, friendship, study, prayer, partnership, and hopeCompany OverviewDesjardins Financial Security Independent Network is a financial services company located in Toronto.
