[Remote] Project Manager with Release Train Engineer (RTE)

They are seeking a highly motivated and experienced Project Manager with a strong background in Release Train Engineering (RTE) to lead and coordinate complex software development projects, ensuring alignment across multiple teams and delivering high-quality solutions on time and within scope.ResponsibilitiesLead and facilitate Agile Release Train (ART) planning, execution, and delivery processes, including PI Planning, Scrum of Scrums, system demos, and Inspect & Adapt sessionsCoordinate cross-functional teams to ensure seamless integration, alignment, and delivery of features and productsManage project scope, schedule, resources, risks, and dependencies to meet business objectivesAct as a servant leader, fostering collaboration, transparency, accountability, and continuous improvement within teamsTrack, monitor, and report progress, risks, dependencies, and impediments to stakeholders and leadershipIdentify, escalate, and help resolve impediments impacting team and program deliverySupport Product Owners in backlog refinement, feature prioritization, and Program Increment (PI) planningDrive adoption and implementation of Agile, Scrum, Kanban, and SAFe best practices across teamsEnsure alignment and coordination across multiple Agile teams, stakeholders, and business unitsManage release schedules, deployment planning, and post-release activities to ensure successful deliveryPromote continuous improvement through metrics, feedback, and retrospective insightsImplement and monitor program-level metrics such as velocity, PI objectives, and delivery predictabilityIdentify opportunities for process improvements and ensure adoption of best practicesSkillsProven experience as a Project Manager in software development projectsExtensive experience working as a Release Train Engineer (RTE) within SAFe or similar Agile frameworksStrong understanding of Agile methodologies, including Scrum, Kanban, and SAFe principlesExcellent leadership, facilitation, and stakeholder management skillsAbility to manage multiple priorities and adapt to changing requirements in a fast-paced environmentCertification such as SAFe RTE/SPC, PMP, or PMI-ACP is a plusExperience with Jira, Rally, Azure DevOps, or other Agile project management toolsTechnical background or familiarity with software development lifecycle (SDLC) and DevOps practicesStrong problem-solving and conflict resolution skillsCompany OverviewApTask is a staffing and recruiting company offering staffing, project, and workforce solutions.
