[Remote] Project Manager with Galen health
Note: The job is a remote job and is open to candidates in USA. KPG99 INC is seeking a Project Manager with expertise in the Galen healthcare platform. The role involves leading project management activities for non-Epic EHR systems and ensuring seamless coordination between various stakeholders to support healthcare operations.
Responsibilities
ā¢ Lead project management activities for all non-Epic EHR systems and related applications
ā¢ Serve as the primary point of coordination between non-Epic application teams, Epic teams, clinical stakeholders, and IT leadership
ā¢ Manage integrations and data exchanges between Epic and non-Epic systems
ā¢ Oversee third-party application projects including implementation, upgrades, conversions, archiving, and decommissioning
ā¢ Develop and maintain project plans, timelines, budgets, dependencies, and risk mitigation strategies
ā¢ Coordinate requirements gathering, workflow analysis, and data mapping across multiple systems
ā¢ Partner with vendors and system integrators to ensure project milestones and deliverables are met
ā¢ Ensure data integrity, validation, and testing throughout project lifecycles
ā¢ Maintain compliance with HIPAA, HITECH, and healthcare data retention standards
ā¢ Facilitate testing phases including system testing, interface testing, and user acceptance testing (UAT)
ā¢ Provide regular status updates and executive-level reporting on progress, risks, and issues
ā¢ Support operational readiness, training coordination, and go-live planning
Skills
ā¢ Bachelor's degree in Information Systems, Healthcare Administration, or related field
ā¢ 5+ years of healthcare IT project management experience
ā¢ Experience supporting non-Epic EHR platforms and/or ancillary clinical systems
ā¢ Strong understanding of healthcare workflows, interfaces, and data exchange standards (HL7, FHIR, etc.)
ā¢ Proven experience managing third-party vendors and application partners
ā¢ Strong communication and stakeholder management skills
ā¢ PMP or equivalent project management certification
ā¢ Experience working in hybrid Epic and non-Epic environments
ā¢ Familiarity with clinical, revenue cycle, imaging, and specialty systems
ā¢ Experience with system integrations, data conversions, or application archiving
ā¢ Hospital or large health system experience
