They are seeking an experienced Contract Project Manager to manage large website projects, serving as the primary client contact and coordinating with cross-functional teams to ensure high-quality outcomes.ResponsibilitiesLead projects from kickoff through launch; serve as primary client contactBuild, maintain, and adapt project plans, budgets, and timelinesCoordinate cross-functional teams and run efficient meetings with clear agendas and follow-upsProduce regular client status updatesManage scope changes, risks, and issues; draft and present change orders as neededDelegate work strategically and prioritize tasks effectivelyFacilitate problem definition and keep outcomes and success metrics visibleIdentify work that doesn’t advance outcomes and recommend de-scoping or reshapingPartner with internal stakeholders on SOWs, estimates, and planning artifacts as neededMaintain decision logs and documentationConduct project retrospectives and recommend next stepsSkills5+ years of client-facing digital project management experience (agency or similar environment)Experience leading large, complex website projectsFamiliarity with Drupal and/or WordPress projectsProficiency with tools such as Jira, Basecamp, Kantata, or similarStrong communication, organization, and problem-solving skillsAbility to synthesize inputs into clear options, insights, and next stepsComfort operating in ambiguity and adjusting plans based on evidenceAbility to challenge ideas diplomatically and present trade-offs clearlyCandidates must be legally authorized to work in the United StatesBachelor's or Master's degree preferredBenefitsThis is a contract role; benefits are not included.Company OverviewWeb + Digital Marketing for Higher Education and Healthcare.
