[Remote] Project Manager, Telecommunications

Sand Cherry is a consulting firm seeking a Project Manager with experience in broadband and telecommunications network infrastructure initiatives. The role involves managing network buildouts, infrastructure enhancements, and collaborating with cross-functional teams to ensure successful project delivery.
Responsibilities
ā¢ Lead and coordinate broadband network infrastructure projects from initiation through completion
ā¢ Facilitate network buildouts, installations, ring collapses, capacity enhancements, and related engineering initiatives
ā¢ Partner with Enterprise Engineering, Inside Plant (ISP), Implementation, Field Operations, Optical Network, and other cross-functional teams to ensure successful project delivery
ā¢ Develop and maintain project plans, schedules, status reports, risk logs, and executive-level presentations
ā¢ Track project milestones, dependencies, risks, and key performance metrics
ā¢ Drive stakeholder meetings, facilitate discussions, and ensure alignment across technical and business teams
ā¢ Communicate project status, risks, and recommendations to leadership and executive stakeholders
ā¢ Adapt quickly to evolving tools, processes, and organizational priorities
Skills
ā¢ Experience managing telecommunications or broadband network infrastructure projects
ā¢ Understanding of network buildouts, fiber infrastructure, network enhancements, ring collapses, and related engineering activities
ā¢ Experience working with teams such as Inside Plant (ISP), Implementation, Field Operations, and Optical Network organizations
ā¢ Strong executive presence and ability to communicate effectively with technical and non-technical stakeholders
ā¢ Excellent facilitation, organization, and project leadership skills
ā¢ Proficiency with project management tools such as MS Project, Smartsheet, Jira, or similar platforms
ā¢ Strong Microsoft Excel and PowerPoint skills
ā¢ Ability to learn new tools and processes quickly
ā¢ Bachelor's degree or equivalent experience
ā¢ All qualified candidates must be authorized to work without visa sponsorship or visa transfers
